Yea they do, it's just rare. Kami -> Kamigami (God -> Gods). Hito -> Hitobito (person -> people). It's arguable whether you should consider these to be plural nouns though as they essentially just repeat the original character or add a 々 which means basically the same thing, and the enunciation for the added portion is just a derivative of the original character. It's an in-between grammatical structure from real plural nouns (person -> people) and attributive nouns that are considered separate to the noun itself, like Chinese where you can just stick 们 on the end of nouns as plural for humans or 群 as plural for specific animals. | ||
