Man. I don't come here as often as I ought to, but seeing people badmouthing Day[9] filled me with sadness and frustration. I said a bit of support for the man, then just left the thread. I didn't even want to know what horrors were going on in there... until, of course, this moment of clarity:

I reported that. I felt compelled to report not only the passive aggressive mod bashing, but to also itemize the grammatical, spelling and punctuation errors in the (one sentence long) post. It took a while to type it up.

Yeah I almost sent you a PM to say that you don't really need to talk about his typing... 1) it's not especially relevant, and 2) we can clearly see it. 
Oh, and as you can imagine... he sent me a very lengthy angry PM about how bad I am, etc. While barely acknowledging his terrible posting history here.

It was just so egregious, I had to say something. And I feel like I should take the time to say something more interesting in my report than "dude's an asshole." You guys work so hard to keep the site clean, the least I can do is try to keep some variety in my reports.

If you actually take a look at that thread objectively there are a lot of posters expressing genuine support. I was actually quite impressed by the number of new guys behaving in exactly the way we want TL members to behave. Lots of sub 100 posters doing what we do best. I'm a glass half full kind of person, so this encourages me.

:D yeah, I mean there's quite a few people on TL who don't post a huge amount, but have accounts, and will every now and then chime in for something like this, but mostly just come here to read news and watch streams.

getting banned is like getting gonorrhea. if you're engaging in the corresponding activity, you're probably going to have had it once, but its not a big deal cause you just get a prescription of new account, and you get a fresh start (though its kind of embarrasing). Additionally, if you've never had it, you're not active enough.
also similar because those who run in with Chill seem to have a higher likelihood of contracting said conditions.
