It was pretty damn obvious that Spades hacked. Not only was the evidence clear that he maphacked (as shown conclusively by CatZ & friends) but a reliable source also came out and said that Spades streamhacked during tournaments. Banning Spades for maphacking is very consistent with TL's policies on this sort of thing in the past. I don't know what TL's stance on stream hacking is. If it were up to me, it would be the same as our policy on maphacking.
Oh, also, some admins are at MLG so maybe that is why there is no detailed statement.

Dear Teamliquid.net Admins,
I write this letter to apologize for my hacking incident 2 years ago, as well as the way I acted upon being caught. I realize I should've apologized immediately following the incident, but I was in a pretty bad place at the time, and instead of being mature and dealing with it, I made the mistake of being very bad mannered and defensive. It was very immature of me, and i regret how i acted. I definitely made quite a few enemies from the way i acted on forums, and It's definitely been hard rebuilding those relationships.
Originally I decided to ignore my past, and just move on with my life, completely leaving the starcraft community, but upon being persuaded to come back for Starcraft 2, I realized how much i wanted to be involved again. TeamLiquid IS the community, i can't even imagine how starcraft would be without you guys. I want a chance to be involved again, and i promise to never put myself in a negative position again. I honestly meant to write this apology shortly after the Starcraft 2 release, but i had a huge misconception that TeamLiquid admins were very unreasonable and would never give me a chance. But after talking to Hot_Bid i realize my opinion was completely wrong, and you are actually very reasonable and willing to hear me out.
I beg you to understand that I was very immature in the past, and If i could do it all over, i would definitely have handled it much differently. I've matured alot, and I've genuinely made a strong effort to rebuild my reputation. I've become friends with many of the players I originally made enemies with during the hacking incident as well as the flame wars that followed. These players include much of Team USA at the time, and many other top players. I feel I have outgrown my hacking and bad mannered reputation, and I am actually quite respected among most of the top players.
I guess that Team liquid have made their judgement. Now just to see if I can find a statement any where. I just saw this one.

This whole hacking thing overran the site for a few days. At one point, they even promised a statement about the situation, and how they want these sorts of thing handled in the future. I think we'll see a more substantial post after MLG.
Yeah. But honestly I think they should ban spades at the same time the release the statement it just doesn't make sense to ban him, wait a day and then release a statement. But hey, maybe rage just was a bit trigger happy.

Yeah the more interesting thing about the statement would be how they will deal with accusations of map hack. And maybe put up a liquipedia page about known maphackers or similar. What their stance as far as maphack and stream cheating goes I think we can all agree that it is very looked down upon (read banned from the community). But how far will TL go about preventing it is another matter.

The TL LoL community is like 100 times more nicer and better at posting than the starcraft part. I don't think we can reasonably and without a doubt consider someone as hacking without a personal confession or unparalleled evidences. The formal statement of TL will be added to his page and if tournaments ban him that would be added too.
Also TL admins usually don't meddle with LP stuff. We are pretty much independent from them.

I was on the verge of getting myself banned via snapping and lashing out at him, because all this guy does is tool it the fuck up in the D3 section. It's summer and i've been spending a good chunk of time playing D3, so naturally i've been frequenting the D3 sub-forum here. This "NotSorry" guy not only advocates/hints at sketchy crap such as selling gold & characters (not to mention hacking), but he also acts like a complete douche.
His attitude is basically: "I'm the coolest bro ever, I go to the gym lots, you guys are nerds, and I play D3 while fucking 10 women"

Something you'll notice is how quickly he posts. In fact, on his first account, he made 8 posts between 17:53 and 18:15. Then he was banned.
This trend continues on his second account, where he made 39 posts between June 10th, 04:06 and June 11th 02:20. Most of them were in those fancy football thingie threads that I don't follow, and as so I wouldn't be qualified to know what is an absurd/silly statement in those forums.
