Reason: Previously banned user. I hate dumb people who get awesome names banned. Why can't more Polar Bear Underlings learn to use expendable names like TI900 or teedotizbackagainandagain or something? rofl when I saw that name I actually got the suspicion he was a PBU, it's really a PBU name imo. Just a question. If you get permabanned, and then come back maybe years later after learning from your mistakes and maybe growing to become a better person, will you still get banned for being a PBU? And first time posting in ABL thread! Finally worked up the courage after months of lurking. There are a lot of pbu that are regular users. I could be one you could be one hell everyone in this thread coulde be one. They are among us. Yep, I even remember a thread about this dude that had been banned 8 years ago and had all that time lurked TL, then finally tried to remake an account. The OP was banned again, at least it seemed that way, but it was just Hotbid troll. Btw I cant figure out if jesusoursaviour is now a troll or not. Is he really that obsessed with jesus or is he just some random bored dude that doesnt have anything else to do? As far as I know he's been pretty consistent with his preachings here. I'd like to believe that he's for real and believes in what he says, but if he's an elaborate troll, he's a pretty good one. I mean, he is not totally consistent. Sometimes he does these long elaborate rants quoting scripture etc, but other times he just acts like a normal dude. The fact that everything even remotely associated with his account has to do with Jesus, besides a lot of the posts, just shows me it is someone kidding around. I mean. I hope it is, because... what the hell. Who spends that much time thinking about a historical figure. Seriously. Plus in one of his very early posts he claims his favorite movie is District 9, which would be odd for someone so religious. If you haven't seen it already, they say "fuck" like 300 times, "cunt" 3 times, and multiple people literally explode onto the camera lens. Fuckin' great movie, but I wouldn't guess someone so religious would like it. EDIT: All that being said, I am quite happy to see that ban. Taking advantage of a tragedy to preach religion is one of the things that pisses me off most in the world. So, people who believe in a higher power can't watch a movie with swearing? huh? Just because someone is religious doesn't mean they're some kind of ultra-social conservative luddite. Also, pretty sure for the fathful Jesus/Muhammad/Buddah/Moses are just a little more important than "historical figures". lol Dude, chill out. I was saying that because he is ultra-religious, he mentions Jesus in his ID ffs. Those kind of things tend to throw ultra-religious people off, at least the ones I know.
And to your last sentence, to someone who is of a different religion or just not religious at all, they are nothing more than historical figures. I understand that to each one of their corresponding religious followers they are much more than simply historical figures, but that doesn't make it any healthier to constantly think about them. That is how addiction is defined.
Stop assuming I mean things I don't, please.
EDIT: For purposes of survival, I think that if you want to keep talkin' about this we move it to either PM or IRC. I don't want to anger the Mod-Gods.

This thread reminds me of the time when My friends and I created a fictious family of far right skin heads to troll our other friend on My Space, but soon our alter egos took on a life of their own and they formed a fully functioning family grounp with domestic affairs &C then for some reason it lost momentum and our skin heads went off into the My Space ether forever.
That's the kind of thing I did as a kid, we were punks and skin heads used to beat us up all the time.
But yeah this reminds me of those moments when fantasy come alive.

Well, since he is the one thinking about it, I guess the context wouldn't be a historical figure. It technically doesn't matter what any of us think of Jesus or other religious figures since we aren't making the post. So he isn't thinking about a historical figure, he is thinking about a religious one, I guess.
Also, I'm fairly religious and I have no issue with cussing

Surveys are interesting things though. There was an interesting one that looked at specific cities to see if attendance actually matched what people put on their surveys. What they found in UK, US and Canada is that you can pretty much the number in half of people that say they attend on a weekly basis. And amongst millenials (Born in the 80's after), around +60% of churched kids leave the church upon graduation. But I would be cautious in over analyzing a person by their username.

I was trying to combine his username with his posting history. The other explanation is that he's a troll who barely stayed below the radar for so long.

Personally I think the more important question is, what is someone like you doing on TL in the first place?
This guy is just a shining example in general.
Like an example of his posting from a different thread...

No, I'm expecting fan violence in the streets. The police can't be everywhere, and to be honest if the stadiums are showing fans giving the nazi salute and using monkey chants against black players then I'm not sure the police are that concerned about racism as long as they don't riot. Not the mentality I would want to have surrounding me, especially if I was black or Jewish, apparently.
But then, UEFA and FIFA never seem that concerned about these things either. Having an anti-racism campaign is all well and good but what message does it send if you give prestigious tournaments to countries that have endemic racism problems in football, or are legally homophobic as in the case of Qatar? You make "racism" sound like the main issue here, but the more important question is, what are black players doing in an European tournament in the first place? Not to mention how offensive it is to portray us Eastern European football fans as some kind of brainless bloodthirsty mob. Yes it's a part of football here as much as it is everywhere. We also have a long history and strong team traditions and results as do any other country out there. I remember everyone was so worried how unsafe South Africa was and people advised against travelling there, and that the massive crime statistics will be more remembered after the games than the matches themselves... and in the end, everything went fine. The most memorable thing about the 2010 World Cup: Vuvuzelas, and not atrocities against the fans. User was temp banned for this post.
The whole bit in context for the current ban.
