I was actually shaking my head at most of the posts in that thread. I had to stop doing that because my neck hurts now.
The discussion seems to be calming down slightly though at the moment. I am glad that the mods keep the thread open. It's really important that we are able to discuss issues like sexism and racism. That's a true sign of a mature and sensible community and shuts the critics of the gamer community right the hell up.

I think the mods closed that thread for an hour so they can reduce their backlog of people to ban. It's hard to keep up with it. It's also amusing that many of the regulars in this thread can't comment on this ban trap right now.

Although reading back through that conversation, Intrigue was being pretty douchey too. At best he was flamebaiting Destiny. Anytime anyone with a red name posts "how stupid is this community", it's going to get a pretty strong reaction.

EDIT: Good God it's out of control...I'm actually F5'ing the ban thread right now.

It's like that bucket-on-an-inferno picture kennigit(?) used as a ban reason a while ago.

There is one reason threads like that stay open: they are a ban trap better than any of those mequitoe zappers.

One of those threads every now and again, mods get to go through and clean up all the trash. Its like spring cleaning!

Ah that Destiny thread is simply Destiny taunting the outraged forum-goers, as they grow angrier, Destiny begins to taunt them even more intensely, thus creating a cycle of rage that grows through feedback. As the forum-goers become mad with rage, they threaten to burn down everything around them, just so that they can take Destiny down. Meanwhile, Incontrol tries largely in vain to tell the crowd to stop burning everything, but to largely no avail. All the while, Destiny continues to taunt and troll the out-raged forum-goers.

People who are uneducated about Destiny's stream/behavior on a daily basis are now suddenly raising pitchforks? What is most surprising is, this isn't even front page on SC Reddit....honestly that thread should just get closed. Making more problems than it could ever hope to solve.

I blame all this Destiny drama to the fact that TLers didn't have their healthy dose of girl blog drama in the past few months. Severe lack of girl blogs is hurting ~~ESPORTS~~ TL.

Also, an amusing afternoon as Synwave said:
