"Twitch have said their contest ends on the 24th, and the invitees will be in a wave on the 28th, which is why I suspect that'll be when the 'competition winners' wave will be." Which unfortunately makes a lot of sense in blizzard-time ..... suck balls! but I doubt we will have any luck before next weekend. | ||

But nooo... they wanted to make the process very slow again and make people depent on some random guy sitting in the office and typing in thousands of accounts who they want to unlock. And once he typed them all in (once a week) he presses the magic unlock button and there you go beta invitees :-) this is so typical for Blizzard... but hey, be patient -> Soon (TM) | ||

So people sell beta keys on eBay. big deal. if someone wins a key in a contest and sells it, how is that a problem for anyone? it's not like the people who won keys on TL or at barcrafts were carefully selected by Blizzard to test their game. | ||

Uhm, by saying "why didnt they just hand out normal Keys like they always did" i guess EVERYONE on the planet understands, that i already know there are no normal keys with HotS Beta and that this is exactly the reason WHY i complain. But thanks you doubled the essence of what i was saying, you really helped me understand my own sentence a bit better. The other thing: Beta Keys being sold at eBay. To be honest with you, i mean why in the world would Blizzard care, if someone would sell a normal beta-key (which is a key like: QIEEQ-QWJQ-KJSJQK-LKSQ)? If you think about it, you can get that beta access on your starcraft account and then sell the whole account, kind of a package (SC2 + Beta Access). Why i say this is, because people actually do this... its the same thing as selling the Beta-Key seperated. And even IF someone sells a normal key (like it was before) who cares? The guy who buys the key will test the Beta anyway, he wouldn't spent the money if his plans were to not use it. And therefor Blizzard isn't losing anything. They dont lose the data they gain from the played matches because someone else fills this gap that is being created when the guy who receives the access just sells his beta-access... it's a stupid argument to say they changed the way they hand out beta access to prevent people selling the access on eBay. Because as it is, it doesnt prevent guys from selling it at all. Like i already mentioned people sell Beta Access + SC2 accounts now. | ||
