SC2 is harder because if you lose a big battle...you're done, whereas in BW you can still recover. Also there's an ever changing strategy trend; what's viable today might be useless tomorrow. But BW is harder because there's more complexity in army compositions, positioning, high ground advantages, no MBS, no automine, 12 per control group, etc

Mechanics-wise, there is no comparison. BW has been more 'figured out' in terms of timings/builds, but that is more of an apples to oranges comparison since BW has been out much longer, and relatively speaking, BW took significantly longer to get to the 'figured out' level that SC2 only took a couple years to get to, but that's apples/oranges too because it's a different world nowadays than when BW was released.

Edit: nvm, reread your post, you had a slightly different meaning.

I just re-read and realized my wording was pretty terrible. I didn't actually mean to say that SC2 was figured out completely.

Your questions seems to imply that SC2 is or will inevitably fade. (The latter might be true, when something "better" comes along that eclipses SC2 in popularity.) But I don't think the former is true. From the data on Liquipedia I can see it rather looks like the interest in SC2 is quite stable. Or at least the amount of people looking at Liquipedia is stable, However if the question is "What do I think as a content provider/member of TL think I can do to increase the popularity of SC2?" then my answer would be, I'm pretty much already doing it. Helping out and making Liquipedia a better resource for fans was the reason I started out with it, wanting "to give something back" kind of. I think what I do has a small but still positive impact on how accessible SC2 as a spectator sport is to people. And if you have time and want to give something back I think helping out with the wiki is a great way to do just that, since it has pretty much an unlimited potential.

I'm sorry if the question wasn't precise as although I think the game might be in a slump, its irrelevant to the question. I've always loved liquidpedia (its how I discovered tsl 1,tl and got to watch Nony win), so thanks for all the stuff you & other staff members have done.
