That's a little off topic though. IdrA deserved extra punishment, but 45x the punishment is something that's ridiculous to me. Especially since what IdrA said ("PM Chill if this upsets you") had nothing to do with harassing or spamming. I don't believe that he should be punished that much for how people interpreted his words. He should be punished for what HE did.

Hello, all! It's become quite apparent that many of you are not reading the first post carefully. Failure to do so in the future will be met with swift punishment. And as always, remember to be civil. Thanks, Empyrean. Time stamp: 03:59 KST.

You really don't think Idra had bad intentions when he posted that on Twitter? He knows his fans well and he knew exactly how they would interrupt it/react to it. Idra has gotten away with a hell of a lot around here the constant string of 2 days bans(which for anyone else would have resulted in perma ban after the first like 3) obviously did nothing to change his attitude.... Heres hoping a 90 ban day will.

This has been suggested, and the obvious problem this creates is that then people will accumulate as many points as they can without getting banned and mock the staff. Before you say "that won't happen", I'll say I've seen it happen numerous times.

Though the number of uninformed(or dumb) fanboys posting in here is hilarious, did that guy few pages back really not understand what repetitive is? Hilarious :D

Otherwise people would manipulate the system. I don't care either way, your system is subjective but usually fine. And if you get unfairly banned (it happens) you can always PM a mod and they respond very nicely and politely.

There has been a broad consensus among the people who bothered to send a message to interpret this as an invitation to "harass and spam". Given, there is plenty of meaning within a single sentence, it could be interpreted in various ways. But most people took it in exactly this way and insisting on the literal meaning or stating what it could have meant won't get us anywhere. "evrybody PM chill of this upsets you" is a very clear invitation/encouragement to spam a mod no matter how you look at it. and either we assume he expected exactly what happened and still did it or Idra is very stupid so he had no clue that this would happen. and idra is definitly not stupid. now its possible that he just did it out of a moment of rage and didnt really think it through. and he had the opportunity to talk with the tl staff about it but judging from the result of that talk this wasnt the case. seems pretty clear to me. TLs judgement and moderation is the best i know in the whole internet even after the wave of '10 which brought the quality here down quite some. and if that was the case then idra wouldvebeen permbanned years ago. so ya.

I don't think anyone would agree that IdrA is going to clean up his act just because he got banned. Well it wouldn't feel right if Idra couldn't by definition be banned at a later date. Speaking of which, does hold the record for the longest period of bans of anyone active on TL? I remember someone had a thread like a year ago on people-who-have-been banned statistics.

Mods do not need to justify their extension of ban in anyway, don't even ask them to.If you've been here long enough and avctive enough on the forums, you know that they are right.

Didn't he get another 90 days ban pretty recently (like 5-6 months ago?) for talking shit about some other staff member? Forums not gonna be the same without him =/, it's a shame that its the fans that suffers. Forums are not going to be the same without him? Try us.battle.net. Everyone posts like IdrA there.

I disliked the guy for a while but kind of overlooked it as mostly just in game bm, respected him for backing up his smack talk with performances recently but this kind of stuff is just totally childish. Supposably, according to some who know Greg, he does not care what anyone thinks of him but its quite clear it is not the case at all but all his behavior; simply just a pure smug brat who only pretends to not care.
