Hello, all! It's become quite apparent that many of you are not reading the first post carefully. Failure to do so in the future will be met with swift punishment. And as always, remember to be civil. Thanks, Empyrean. Time stamp: 03:59 KST.

I don't think that lock was a direct consequence of IdrA's ban. The mods probably just wanted to keep it from going out of control because everyone was discussing his ban over there despite of the mods telling us to discuss it somewhere else. They will probably unlock it once all this fuss dies down.

It is a platform for him to speak so it should be effected by the ban. Also it should be a permban if you really think he meant to say his fans should harrass Chill, considering his history. Doing it like this is basically like saying: "We don't act against his fans, he does." But you ban Idra for advising his fans to stop caring about Cruncher and the incident. But some fans do care about (in their eyes) cheating. So you ban Idra even longer for saying something on another platform (twitter) but don't care if he is bm und insulting on his other platform (stream). I hope I expressed what I mean well enough in English which is: I really don't understand what is happening here. Welcome to TL.net! Now, it would benefit you to read the OP or the various explanations in this thread again, since most answers to your questions are already there. You write: So why are you still showing his stream? Nazgul wrote: Idra's stream will still be listed in the stream section. Our stream list is an informational resource much like the TLPD, Calendar, or Liquipedia. We believe for these resources to function properly, they must be comprehensive and complete and thus we do not remove banned pro players from them. You write: So you ban Idra even longer for saying something on another platform (twitter) but don't care if he is bm und insulting on his other platform (stream). We did not ban him for writing on twitter alone. Nazgul wrote: We spoke with Idra and he stated that he does not regret his actions and will not change his behavior on our forums. Thus, we've decided to ban him for 90 days. There are precedents for TL acting upon stuff that happens outside. But this wasn't off TL. He specifically caused users to harass a moderator with PMs. He was given a preferential treatment by speaking to him in person in order to resolve the issues. As that didn't work out, the ban ensued.

As it is he gets free publicity and a larger group of people to watch his games (even if most want to see him lose) (new account in fear of ban for supporting Idra)

Either way I hope IdrA continues to stream, really enjoyed it whenever he did. "PM Chill if this upsets you". There has been a broad consensus among the people who bothered to send a message to interpret this as an invitation to "harass and spam". Given, there is plenty of meaning within a single sentence, it could be interpreted in various ways. But most people took it in exactly this way and insisting on the literal meaning or stating what it could have meant won't get us anywhere.

(Completely disregarding that he wouldn't have answered to a person like you anyways.) But don't talk about respect when you go on by comparing a person to a pissing cat. Thanks.

I think this is more of an argument for banning those people who chose to harass and spam instead of simply contacting Chill with their disapproval. Edit: Grammar

Idra repeatedly was a dick to a guy who ended up outskilling him and all he gave in return was a smiley. Nice to see idra finally get a lengthy ban, any other person acting this imaturely on forums almost anywhere would be isp banned so he should count himself lucky.

It's not his main beef. His main beef is repeatedly, and he's giving you more examples which further his argument. I'm saying the pre-game banter example is not a very good one. The interview example isn't a very good one either. When's the last time you heard of a tournament disqualifying a player for disrespecting his opponent in an interview? If a poster breaks the forum rules, then he should be banned. I don't question that in the slightest. But bringing up Idra's TSL conduct is simply not related to this. If you want to bring up Idra's unsportsmanlike behavior then bring up his MLG games against HuK, that was a hoot(though if the in-game banter law was invoked in those games HuK would have suffered a forfeit).

Have you read anything in this thread? Looked at any of the reasons? Seriously this blind fanboyism is retarded.... Idra should have been ISP banned a long time ago, his name carries a lot of weight and has helped him along. I enjoy his play so I really hope after this 90 day ban he cleans up his act a little bit I'd hate to see him perma banned but he really needs to grow up.
