Even nice, civil, intelligent people can have spats of stupidity, though, and I think disciplinary action when appropriate can help cool their heads.

I didnt even know I was banned because the next time I logged in, it was already lifted. I want TL to be a resourceful place filled with good information. When I'm looking at SC2 Strategy section, I don't want to see pointless macro pictures and retarded bickering, I want to see in depth conversation about strategy.. Not "I got 6 pooled again" Its best just to leave the silly threads alone, they will probably get closed anyways. Edit: Oh yeah and I've been warned once. It just means a mod likes you, thats all ![]() This is one of the main reasons for the Report feature. I don't think bans set people straight, they just change themselves over time, call it growing up/out or w.e you like.

Since then I was banned for not sure how long but then the admin thought it was too harsh so it was a warning, what I said was a little to passive aggressive I suppose I was telling someone how stacking mutas is a waste of time in Starcraft 2 so I kind of said it in a flaming tone. + Show Spoiler + "Stacking doesn't exist in sc2 and even if you find the time to be clicking that much a thor will come in and ruin your cutesy micro trick that doesn't exist. And now I try to be a quality poster with being very light on any aggression, but still not muting my opinions! -Laggy p.s I am really enjoying the TL community I think the reason that it's so good is because of the mods. p.p.s opinions is really close to onion, nvm.

I'm just curious if anyone is/ knows an example of someone set straight by bans? I'm pretty sure fanatacist stopped being a dick about 7000 posts in, but he's gone now. Wondering if there are other examples. I'm an example of getting set straight by a ban. You won't see me doing stupid posts anymore.

In fact, it probably worked very well considering how easy it is to get bait-banned in SC2 threads. same. that is how i was banned, and that is my warning, one post in sc2 and im perma hehe
