In my 4th blog, for my 500th post, I requested a 2-week temp ban because exams. I lost my ban virginity in a terrible manner. What was bad though, were the responses, especially from a notable community figure like Inc who I looked up to:

I forgot about this thread :O. I finally had an embarrassing moment, I sent a message thanking GMarshall, little did I know that in my stupidity I didn't read the banling title and it was actually NrG.Monk, the god of protoss guides. He forgave me, but I trespassed in the halls of the gods when I did that mess up LOL. I still have that PM  .

My first temp ban for posting a funny pic of Huk. I felt so bad, like a total douche. I never wanted to come back, but after a day I got over it and realized that people get banned all of the time, just follow the rules, and don't disrespect the site that you love, you will be fine. I was utterly mortified though at the time.

Mostly embarrassing to get warned for something that I (especially with my history) should have known way damn better than to post.
The guy I quoted in that post was asking a question of a person (now banned) who pretty much said, implicitly or explicitly, every one of the things I said in my post. I only had to go a tiny bit into hyperbole.
TLHF, the only place worse than Tech Support to see insane advice. In Tech, you can cost people large amounts of money. In TLHF, if people listen to nutjobs, they might try to cure their diabetes with an all carb diet.

I was once in a DC LAN event where I played a truly disgusting individual who not only heavily BM'd me but exploited an unfortunate battle.net disconnect to turn a loss into an undeserved win (you can tell I am still salty). I got so unbelievably angry that I not only shouted at the dude but also insulted and alienated my friends' ability to fairly run their tournament on TL. I ended up getting banned for 30 days and felt like such an out-of-control emotionally-driven moron the whole month.
Such an utterly embarrassing way to handle an unfortunate situation. My opponent was a total douche but the tournament organizers did not deserve any of my harangue. In their position there was no other decision to be made (although to be fair the map pool was utter shit and absurdly terran favored -- close position lost temple? Really? No wonder most if not every dc lan champion was a terran rofl)

I have WAY too many drunk posts on these forums. I had the nasty habit of hitting on some of the casters/players...in quite the explicit manner. I really should have probably been banned several times.

I was updating the MCSL Live Report one night when the games went REALLY late and I was completely non-functional. I eventually fell asleep on my deck with the thing half completed, and a bunch of the ones that I had done were completely wrong. When I woke up, I had a warning and all of these people in the thread going "WTF IS OP DOING???" I was very embarrassed.
