Ulti orbs used to be 2k, and I think skadi at one point was something absurd like 4 ulti orbs + Upgrader and gave 50 stats.
Like, a seriously long time ago, like 5.36 long time ago.
Edit: found it. Yeah, 5.36 skadi is 4 ulti orbs, point booster, 50 all stats, hp/mana, frost attack. Ulti orbs were 2850 then though, they were dropped to 2300 at some point, then down to 2k, up to 2150, and then recently hit 2100 as they are now.

Our first 4 picks were Spirit Breaker, Pugna, Invoker, and Bounty Hunter. Someone on our team says "Can we please get a carry for the last pick." I said "why do we need a carry.... we have SB and BH and Pugna and Invoker are basically semi carries". Everyone on our team told me "you're retarded BH and SB aren't real carries they can't do anything" so they take dragon knight as the last pick.... that game was a lot of fun.......
Ah they believed BH and SB to be useless but picked them anyway... -_-
Played a game on Radiant with a instapick AM who after a first blood double kill, manages to die every 3 minutes. He'd complain that he can't do anything against Lion, who basically killed him at every encounter. We explain to farm more conservatively, especially if Lion is missing from the map. Although it was probably too late as he'd found other ways to die as well. Mostly due to poor decision making and finding himself unable to escape multiple enemy heroes. "no help?" was a phrase often used by him, basically following him through every bad decision while trying to keep up with his blink. And it didn't help that we didn't have many stuns (this was our fault as a team).
We tell him to stick to farm while the rest of us stall until he has items. This was after I watched him dance in the river (bottom rune) deciding between going to farm and helping a teammate getting ganked by at least 3 near Dire's bottom tower. With no other teammate nearby, it was an inevitable death. AM still (and finally) decides to run into all of the heroes who proceed to make short work of him.
After we kept telling him to farm, he does so, but we lose a team fight mid and our Pudge (who maybe utters his first words of the game) starts pinging AM and complaining why he didn't help. We explain that he has to farm, and annoys me a bit because it wasn't too long ago where our Pudge (with only 2 Rings of Regeneration) was farming then sitting at our T2 bottom tower during a long team enemy encounter. He didn't move until long after the fight had ended in the opposing team's favor).
After a while of AM farming, I palmfaced after looking at his items. Vanguard and Hood. This is what our team has been stalling for. I expressed discouragement with Hood against a team with disables and burst damage, and he should have gotten some kind of damage oriented item after vanguard. Our team was lacking in the damage department significantly and was relying on AM to get something that would be able to kill after we unloaded our (albeit weaker) burst. Of course he reassures us that it's good, and trust him, as it's his staple build. A few more deaths later he rage quits and i found out he sold the Hood, so he had only a Vanguard and a Wand. He did mange to call our AA terrible, even though he was one of the better players (if not the best) on our team.
Pudge throughout the game was of no help, but one such incident stands out that defined his overall play. The enemy Juggernaut went shopping at the Radiant secret shop and we proceed to cut him off from both both exits. Starting from our T2 mid tower, Pudge and another head towards the river exit while I go straight up from the tower. Pudge, in no hurry, waits for me to die before hooking Juggernaut out by the river without disabling. He then leads the chase with the rest of our teammates deep into the dire top lane, where they're met with the rest of the team. What irks me the most was that he failed to see why that wasn't his fault and dismissed my question as to why he hooked him to safety in the first place.
TL;DR: AM with bad decisions with multiple deaths, farms vanguard and hood only, sells hood. Pudge blames others and deflects from himself.

Play tryhard all night and get stomped! My absolute worst game in recent history. I go solo short lane as brood. My opponents are Veno and Drow who both randomed. So they come to lane with sentries. I get my first CS. Veno slows, Frost Arrowed, pew pew im dead. Tower dove like a biatch. Then it happens again. And again. The jungling furion never realizes that I may need to help top and AFK's in the jungle until they get bored killing me and find him. It was the single worst ass whupping I have ever had in a Dota game. This is only one of the many frustrating losses of the night. After 7 games (2 wins 5 losses) my buddy and I just say fuck it and random on our last game. I get Mirana (one of my best characters) and he gets Leshrac. We stop tryharding and just decide to be fucking ridiculous. Trilane top shortlane with a juggernaut and straight up murder the other lane. Then he decides to just roam the entire game going big at every opportunity and I just go ball out on every single kill attempt. It ends in us just completely stomping the other opponents. It feels like we stopped trying to win and just played to be balls-to-the-wall badasses and it worked. Too well. So I am going to play more games like that now. Cause I guess in Dota you either go big or you go home.

Alch feeds bloodseeker, blames the lich, calls for a gank from invoker mid when mid has no mana from ganking the riki who is forced to solo (the axe jungled and died to neutrals -.-). Invoker gets mana while being qqed at for not ganking, then when he ganks, alch stuns himself, saving the bloodseeker, and then leaves.
And that is the story of how I lost as invoker.

I used to think that it was impossible also.
Then I took a fed bloodseeker to the knee.

sad games today, always have someone in my team who play like its their first dota game ever and i always seem to be in a lane with him, had an invoker who skilled wex first then exort then maxed quas, he didnt skill invoke untill lvl 4 and then next at lvl 10, every time they went on me he just hit creeps and went ghost walk and told me im a noob the next game a weaver goes 0-7 against a solo antimage and says he cant exscape since he doesnt have blink and flames me for losing a solo lane as axe against es and rhasta since our furion never decided to leave the jungle to gank (not once in the game, he went 1-8 one kill with his ult) so the next game theres a furion on the other team and I think to myself haha another one of these afk farmers, but think again, he goes mid and goes like 3-0 against our pudge and ganks our lanes all the time, just my awsome luck today

Aw c'mon, that stuff is ancient tradition. You have to attempt fountain farming if your team gets up there. It's just part of what DotA is. It's like a traditional way of ending the game. Some losers will suicide attack or some winners will dive close to the fountain. Kills are made, giggles are had, GG's are exchanged.
It's manner if you ask me.

Okay here's the story: our enemys pick 4 strength carries and Ursa, I random 95% of the time but i was thinking to myself "well, ramon, why not play naix". My Pudge asks for solo top - I'm thinking, "yay, he understands it without me having to say it".
However, he actually tries to pick rune at bottom and arrives top when both enemys are level 2 and gets instakilled. He then proclaims: fucking naix, i don't top and goes bot (to tri-lane) where he instantly dies, afterwards he continues his dying rampage in mid, after saying he solo mids now (still level 1 I believe).
Fast forward 15 minutes, enemy Huskar leaves and we slowly catch up, but then our Witch Doctor leaves and so does the rest of my team (3 of them premade).
Luckily, I queue again and catch that pudge in my enemy team and proceed to trash him. Sweet revenge.
