Always happens when I go for like a 5-6 hour session..The last 1-2 games are usually the ones where i flame everyone on my team,on the enemy team , neutral creeps , roshan , valve and the Chinese.

Void on my team finishes the game with a 47 minute Treads + MoM + 1 Javelin farmed up.
-.-

Sorry but AGAIN Russians who can't understand English or only spam Russian they never get involved with any team play. Had a jungle Russian SK who couldn't give a shit about the team when we were ganking or defending towers he was just farming jungle or lanes, seriously man as a soloq player Russians fucking piss me off and I don't believe Valve or many other people think it's a big problem because everyone just circlejerks and plays in premade groups of 2-5

My first QQ post of all time:
Just finished a game on tiny with a score of 18/7/16, all 7 deaths coming in rapid succession as we lost, so I was 18/1/16 earlier. Our team had 42 kills total. We had an AM on our team who ended the game 0/7/2. He had free farm lane and 45 minutes to do something.
It took him 35 minutes to make a bfury without boots. Then he made treads/vlads vs a thousand disables.
Admittedly, I was playing on a 6 win account to play with my newb friend in games she could deal with. This AM had 100+ wins, though, which at his skill probably means at least a hundred losses.
I really don't understand how people are even capable of playing 200+ games and still being that bad.
|
^ Part of the reason may be that not everyone reads forums, watches pro games, or even takes the game this seriously. I can totally see someone playing 200 games for fun and not knowing how to play AM *properly or last hit well. I've played w friends that had quite few games and thought that I was out of my mind when I said Veno should play a support or when I would ask usually supporting inlet heroes for wards etc (but it will delay my aghanims!).
Basically a lot of things are easily read and understood on forums. but if people are simply playing for fun here and there and don't pay that much attention to dota scene/meta etc, those really casual gamers will miss a lot of nuances that we take for granted, even intelligent ones.

My favourite conversation with my RL mates goes as follows:
'Hey as the support can you buy wards please' '...but I need to buy boots so I stop dying' 'And why do you keep dying?' '...because I keep getting ganked' 'So buy wards' '...but I want boots first'
etc etc
|
The unfortunate thing is that sometimes wards won't save you from dives or smokes, so it's even harder to get people to learn what a support is supposed to do.
'please buy wards CM' 'but I need boots so I don't die again' 'but we need wards for rune vision. Plus it could save you from those ganks.' 'nope, we had wards up last time I died, I need boots to be able to run away.'
Our my other favorites:
'But I bought courier.' 'But I got last set.' 'But I need Aquila (which really drives me up the wall with VS and Venomancer).

hehe, yep, had the same experience, but when you finally talk them into buying a set of wards they make it sound like they just did you the biggest favor ever and you dare not ask them to buy another set later

'Hey as the support can you buy wards please' '...but I need to buy boots so I stop dying' 'And why do you keep dying?' '...because I keep getting ganked' 'So buy wards' '...but I want boots first'
etc etc I was laning with my RL mate a few days ago, i had randomed sniper and he picked a support, we went safe lane. I told him, yea just stack at 0:53 and pull at 1:15. He stacks, then i push the lane a bit so i don't have to tank too much under the tower. Suddenly i realize that he decided to not pull but stack AGAIN because "Then our creeps die even faster" and i was against a brood, so suddenly brood has control of the lane since my friend still hasn't gotten ANY exp. And i'm pretty shafted as far as EXP goes. Then he gets mad when i complain and tell him that when i tell him to just stack and pull then he needs to just stack and pull and not stack and stack and pull. Not to mention that in the very same game i tell him: Get sentries as soon as you have 200 gold. After 5 minutes there are still no sentries and i ask him where they are, he has boots and he says "but i needed boots first".
Not to mention that our pudge wanted to try to out-CS a TA mid instead of trying to gank, so he lost his lane incredibly hard.
Needless to say, that game was a stomp for the enemy team.
Zzzzz it's so annoying because he's from LoL and likes to play support there, but he isn't used to not having gold per 5 items, so there's a lot of thing that he can't understand, such as that supports really don't end up with a lot of items unless it's a stomp(He constantly complains about not having 300+ GPM as a hard support) and when he asks for how to just get tons of kills and i suggest wisp he goes "I don't like how wisp stuns enemies, i just want something single target."
It's frustrating to teach him how to play DotA, but he really wants to, so i'm okay with tanking some losses. It's about having good games after all, not winning.

After losing my last game 5v3, getting owned by just a meepo on the enemy team [the other 2 didn't really matter much] I am done with playing DotA for this year. QQ
Time to start playing Maplestory again, lol.

Remember that if you are issuing commands and taking the leader role, your attitude will have an even greater impact on his play. Constantly reminding him that he is bad will solidify his under-confident playstyle.
In the future, give specific points and goals for him to accomplish so that he has an understanding of where he fits into the team dynamics. - Telling someone to get a certain item by a benchmark time is one of the quickest way to teach them to last hit and farm instead of running around like a headless chicken. - Explaining the lane dynamic while the counter is counting down for the creep spawn is a great method to get his head in the game, and to get what you want in the lane. Sometimes, you will have to reformulate based on your lane opponents, but its easier to adjust with a "play passive" or "go balls to the walls aggressive" than it is to say "stack and pull and keep us at the tower because they keep killing us when we step off". - Don't play his hero, when you suggested sentries, it was just that, a suggestion. You do the same thing when someone else tells you how to play your own hero, so don't QQ about him figuring out the game for himself.
Also, LoL supports are a much more passive breed that dont have the psychological warfare tools of Dota supports. Tell him that the first step to winning a fight is to just assume you are a bigger/better player than the opponent. It makes them scared and misplay and you get a kill. ezpz

Yeah I found out that instead of giving my friends orders, I usually compromise and tell them why they should do it and why it's good for them. For example: "You should always carry tp, because if you see 1 lane is empty, tp up, kill 3 creeps and you make the money back, the rest is free money." "Buy a ward and ward there, if the enemy come from there, I'll ping warn you and tp to help you" "Ward is not really expensive, default gpm is 75, so you can buy a ward in 2 minutes and it will last for 6 minutes each" "I have boot and if I stay there, they can kill me easily too, you should try to stay back and live, I'll try to gank if I can"
It worked out quite well for me so far, although I have to constantly tell them because they forget it. Buy hey, at least they know what I say is reasonable and they will do it.

If you're in a game where your support doesn't buy wards, but the enemy team knows how to Smoke gank effectively, then either matchmaking has played a cruel trick on you, or you've played a cruel trick on matchmaking (by queuing with an extremely lopsided stack).

Every time some cocksucking brainless dick faggot buys shadow blade versus team with Gondar. Hey guys, im thinking how to waste 3k gold which i farmed for last 12 mins. Well, son, there is that item, Lothar, it will make you invisible! But, but Gondar have track! But invisible=invincible man don't you know how it works!?

Time to start playing Maplestory again, lol. Meepo- Making players quit dota since whenever the fuck he was invented. It wasn't even about meepo, it was about the fact, that my team was 5, the meepo team was 3 players. And for whatever reason my team refused to go as 5 and finish the game, but instead want to farm up, while getting picked off alone all the damn time. Needless to mention, that our 3 enemies were holding hands the whole time. As far as I know abdondon-matches don't even count towards your account and even if so, I wouldn't mind one more loss, but the fashion in which it happened is just ... I don't know. On another note: I frequently do that. Not touching DotA for 2-4weeks and when I start again I often even play better than I used to. That's how I expirienced it so far.
