Please remember that while this thread is for QQ and venting about the game, racism is not tolerated here on LD. |

This game has actually made me racist against Russians. Stop playing on the US/EU West servers you animals.

Just with in a game with a juggernaut who got mad I asked him to come bottom with me, Bane, because he didn't want to be in the hardlane. I even told him I'd babysit him and give him farm. There was a drow top, an axe mid, and he was insisting that drow go mid.
After this I put him on ignore, try to set up a few kills for him, and then he proceeds to farm for the rest of the game, buying a shadow blade to invis away from any gank. When I say all he does is farm, I mean he intentionally avoided every team fight possible and ended the game 1-1-0.
Around 45 minutes he had a broadsword and claymore on the courier. After some courier tug of war I managed to drop both items and kill them. He raged about this for the next 20 minutes. :3

Actually, after all the russian harass (the minority is just fine, talking english when you ask them), i'm getting frustrated.. Last time some russian chose a carry hero, and bought a courier after we bought one.... That was just over the top..mentioned it politely and the only thing in return was russian spam.
-> connected to a "russian" game, acting like the previous bastard, and you 'll never guess -> the russians playing on russian servers can speak english!!!!! hilarious..

Games with Russians can be fairly annoying for sure. However because of this a solo queue win with Russians that actually do speak English and work together a bit is extremely rewarding.

Oh I agree. He wasn't being bad, he was intentionally avoiding fights. We were asking him for help, he spoke english, had demonstrated so earlier by responding to our messages, and would not help us at all.

I didn't say anything about a ban, but I would imagine Valve would ban people when the cost of their gameplay outweighs the cost of the items they purchase. Let's say they do some math and discover everybody who says "fuck" costs them $1.00 and on average people who say "fuck" only spend $0.50. At that point it would be monetarily worth banning them.
I'm not saying that's what they're doing, but I'm just countering the "they spent a lot of money" aspect.

You're still a dick for sinking to his level.

in the words of gandhi
an eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind but honestly though thats such an easy fix, make only consumables and utility items be able to be used by teammates

Yep. I can't deny this, but damn was it satisfying pissing him off because he was pissing the rest of us off. He single handedly threw the game, and it's not like his items actually mattered so I didn't feel too bad.
Oh did I mention we lost? We lost because Jugg wouldn't come to a single fight.

Really, some times the match making really does get it wrong. Just finished a 70 minutes game, the opposition team is 2 two man teams and a solo, all with 400+ wins, our team is all 400+ wins except for our Drow Ranger, who has 1 win.
1 fucking win.
He feeds their bounty hunter the first NINE kills of the game, and all he says all game is "lol".
At half an hour, we started coming back, cause the drow stayed well in the back, then he DC's on us. We manage to hold them off for another 30 minutes thanks to some exceptional turtle-ing. But eventually Nature Prophet back doors our final rax. We still hold off the megas for a good 10 more minutes and wipe their team twice, but just couldn't hold out.
Such an epic game to lose, and all cause of some noob in his fourth game.
Can anyone tell me how you go 0-9-0 on a Drow against a BH and a Sandking?

Not sure what you're expecting there.

Yeah I've had some pretty mad outliers too. People so far below you suck, but people head and shoulders above you are more annoying I think cos you know you're losing to a team just cos of one superstar.

I know that's the reason, it's just so frustrating, there were 80k+ players online, could the system really not find one player with a higher skill or experience level to play?
Fighting hard for 60 minutes after a start like that only to be back-doored on the millionth attempt is frustrating beyond belief.
Shouldn't complain, I've never noticed things like this with the matchmaking system before though, really odd. I just wish I hadn't played the game and had slept instead.
Anyway, off to bed. gg wp.
