Even in the games I win, if I'm playing a support I just don't feel the desire to play given how much flame you receive simply for existing.
e: it's usually minimal when playing a carry though, because people don't flame you if your KDR is positive and you're just destroying everybody. They only flame you if they find that you are inferior to them in some way (e.g. items, k/d/a, whatever...) as a support you're almost always worse off in every statistic, so I find I get flamed consistently more. I also find it harder to win as support, but winning doesn't matter to me as long as the game was enjoyable
I'm the opposite, if someone plays support and I see them buy wards multiple times and courier I'm in love with them and will take a lot of fucking up on their part for me to be upset w them.
If ppl pick carry and start messing up I get mad at them more, though I resist flaming since it will only make them play worse. <3 support players
I do start talking back when others (bad or good players) start flaming myself or other teammates because it really pisses me off and reduced my chances of winning even more. I shouldn't do that though cause I usually make it worse but sometimes it's so hard not to say something when an otherextended FV dies and pings his "noob" teammates that are half way across the map cause those "idiots" weren't there to help.

Okay, so I played with a friend and we picked lifestealer and windrunner, me as wr. My team decided it was an amazing idea to pick pa, tiny and centaur. So I bought a courier and thought I'm going offlane with X, cause tiny is going mid. So I also bought wards and tangos for regen. Apparently they also decided tiny and centaur was a fucking amazing safelane, so I had to go mid against a fucking TA.
I think I did quite decently in mid and lost mid by a narrow margin. Safe lane got ganked, because by being completely stupid and staying on lane while they saw TA going to their lane through wards. Then they started to insult me because I had no items and thought I was the reason we were losing. Guess what you're NOT FUCKING RICH if you're buying courier, wards, dust while solo mid against TA. Funny thing is, they were russian and the only english they knew were insults.
Fun times. Centaur had like 30 lasthits after 30 Minutes, pa had a Helm of Dominator and Tiny had Hand of Midas.

fucking shit, 2/3 of my games today and yesterday involve a person on my team actively gamethrowing, and even declaring it. High/Very high so far has been so much worse than normal mmr for me, and yes I got my account from normal up to that.
So hard to get a good game. Half the ones that are good suddenly one person on some team or the other starts gamethrowing. Hardly ever had that happen in normal, was just 60% of the games were horribly imbalanced one way or the other back then. Not much of utter gamethrowing.

played an incredible cm game, bought like 9x sets of sentries for nyx/weaver and still managed mek/euls+gem. got a hilarious quad kill with ult then lose because lifestealer suicides for no reason when enemy has to def 2 uber creep lanes

i would not recommend the second part. because most of them are as bad as all the other average people are. and i just queued with a TLer who went griefing after 10mins with enigma afk farmin allgame on purpose because our SD made 1 mistake that killed him.

Nah, more like I've been losing motivation since I restarted playing dota, because I just can't stand playing with random different people every game, a nontrivial percentage of which seem to play to lose, or otherwise wouldn't give a damn. And if it's a partial premade, in my experience nearly every pub you get in a partial premade is one of those fucktards who play as if they play to lose (if you are at 3-4 people).
Basically after a certain point, and btw I've played around 180 games since coming back to dota after a multi year absence about a month ago, I got my MMR from normal to currently high/very high mix of games, with more very high when I solo queue rather than with friends, but basically I've started getting worse because I stop paying attention and stop caring about winning. Playing pubs is just awful for mentality. So I'm done. I basically take winning too seriously for pubs to be of any fun. Shit I even quit sc2 while in GM because my wrist decided that playing at normal speed was not good for it, and I'm not going to bother at all if I can't tryhard at 100%.

Just means I need to actually play more instead of watching stream and tournaments so I can try and get out of the lower end. Oh and a razor that kept QQ'ing about lion's stun ulti combo..

People who don't abuse the awesomeness of using Boots of Travel on Tinker hurt my brain. And not using rearm is the worst thing of all.

Had a high (or was it very high) mmr game where a russian on my team didn't bother getting boots at all. All game. He never had boots.
