I fucking hate fountain camping myself even if it's my team doing it, imo etiquette is you are allowed 1 fountain charge before game ends, provided the creeps will finish off the throne  anything more than that like skipping hitting down the towers just to camp enemy fountain is just lame.
edit: also most dota players aren't mean at all, just frustrated and they express it in a bad way.

Don't worry man. I had a 23 loss streak a few months ago. That's when I started really liking Dota again. You see, I got at a point where I stopped being a tryhard. I just played without giving a fuck (what can be worst? 40 loss streak? who cares). So I started playing just for having fun, not necessarily winning.

Has anyone ever played in normal game with someone who picked a lina or lion that bought any support items at all? I just get the feeling everyone thinks they are the hardest of carries the world has ever seen.

Couple more losses and it'll just be the one win on a page... Tried everything, every position and every type of playstyle. Nothing works lately. If I support the carry is suicidal and I end up constantly intercepting ganks on him and dying in the process. If I carry then I end up competing with my support for farm. If I solo mid then either the opposing team focus ganks me repeatedly or one of our lanes feeds their carry like crazy.
I wouldn't mind but I was up to about 53% win rate at one point. Now I'm bang on 50% again. Game REALLY doesn't like you getting higher.

I often pick Lina, saying "support", buying a courier and wards, join the hard carry on his lane just to be pinged for 2 minutes because everybody wants me to go mid.... that said I do not mind playing a farmed Lina (if I get farm... i'm pretty horrible especially mid)

How do people justify playing drow ranger so much..Fucking hero takes no skill at all..just start auto attacking the moment you hit level 6 and start going on 3 man ganks while hiding behind other heroes..I know she's squishy but god damnit that damage output is crazy..no matter how skilled of a player you may be , she wins a 1v1 90% of the time..plus that slow and her insane attack range.
Fuck that hero , hope it never existed and ice frog grows old trying to fix it.

PSA: Blaming your mid because you picked the shittiest lanes in existence and fed does not change the fact that you picked the shittiest lanes in existence and fed.
Bonus points if the lane was lost without any exterior factors.

Ouch. I suggest playing drow if you really want to win. I personally have a 11-3 record on drow,thats how insanely good drow is. What i do nowadays is play whatever the shit i want, until i decide i want to win then play a few games as drow.
Yeah patchzergs has nothing on me I also broke my 9games losing streak just by sticking with drow.

That's a separate issue. The topic was about breaking losing streaks. Drow is definitely most effective in doing that, boring though it may be

I picked meepo to practice more since I noticed I died too much early game with meepo and couldn't create that much needed xp difference. Game starts with 'omg meepo is picked, I have to quit now' kind of crap. I mute all my team after a few minutes.
I lane with an invoker in safe lane opens with quas, cold snap and couldn't even harass any. Anyways I died a few times because of my retardness. After some point my team forces many unnecessary trades and feed weaver in the end. I farm despite all the pingsfrom my teammates. I am not of their plan because I thought it was bad. So I farm multiple jungle at the same time. I unmute them when team fights had occured and also took towers and forced the opponent to split.
At the end we lost the game and everyone blame me because I picked meepo and failed. My stats were:

Invoker managed to stay lvl 21 in a 65 min game. No team fight spells either. SS had no idea how to push and take towers early game. Anyways I broke my LH record, and about to won the game. I was both glad and pissed off at the same time. QQ

MM is so fucked up. How the fuck can i get matched into a game with someone who has less than 10 games played when i got almost 1000 games played? da fuck ....

I fucking hate getting matched against a 5 man tryhards stack who goes for a trilane with Drow Leshrac and Shadow Demon just because I managed to get on a winning streak. This matchmaking is horrible.

no matchmaking is fine, it only isnt tuned to stacks well enough yet, srsly people stop complaining about matchmaking so much it will take a while to perfect it

Give a bigger MMR bonus to stack and people will complain they are forced to pick tryhard teams to win a match if they queue with friends. Good luck trying to "fix" matchmaking in an enviroment like this. Pubs willl be pubs.
