Doing decent with my mate in top lane (dire), when my glorious teammates in bottom go 1 8 as Lina and Rubick, can't remember what score he went, but he wasn't any asset to our team. Our last teammate, a Slark, was pretty decent, got tons of ganks, hit lvl 25 first with good items etc. Doesn't stop the fact that Lina decided to afk out at spawn halfway, Rubick not knowing what to do essentially turning every fight into a 3.5 vs 5 and Slark thinking he should be able to take one out and get away vs 5 ppl every other minute.. We kept going for it and lost after an hour.. TIME WELL SPENT &#*#($# | ||

How, in the name of GOD, can they NOT UNDERSTAND how important it is not to dump two carries in one lane and two supports in the other? And to not try to out-last-hit their own carry? I mean this is all so damn basic that ten minutes online learning to play will teach it to you. And then you get the "hurr durr, I don't care its just a game" crowd screwing around. If you don't care then stop playing and go do something else rather than ruining it for everyone else. As for myself...six game losing streak....AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH. One win in the past TEN matches. This game REALLY wants me down at 50% again after I dared to creep up to around 53% or something. | ||

In my first game, Huskar calls mid, after that, invoker goes mid and they fight over it, invoker goes ganking, succeeds, and Huskar goes jungling and constantly tells the other team (with pudge) where's everyone in my team is. | ||

MM really can be the worst. My last game have 2 friends who call for top lane (as radiant) then discuss how the best laner's are Gankers so they pick BH and Nyx in the same lane. Didn't take long for the opposition to buy one set of wards then stomp the living shit out of them. I say to them to swap lanes, but no. They feed up the sven until he is 19-2-4. GG. | ||

Man do they have it wrong. Its one thing to use a smurf account while practicing as a pro. Its another thing to use it because you think W/L ratio is what MMR is based off of. MMR is a black box calculation. Some facts that are discovered after playing thousands of games: Its individual based, performance based, and therefore losing with your friends does not necessarily mean it goes down. Calm your beards, you just need to make sure you play like you think you should be playing (killing, decent gpm/xpm, assists, and lots of other stuff). Once you're good enough to do well with/without a strong team (aka. you don't rage anymore because you've gotten to that enlightenment stage), you'll start to raise your solo queue mmr up to move up the tiers. When you feel like playing with friends, you'll probably notice that games are easier because you're better, and that the average MMR tier drops back down so that you're playing with less skilled people. Then you can stomp or maybe you'll still lose because your friends are that bad. Its ok though, you'll still solo queue right back into very high. I do this on a daily basis. Queue with friends who are clearly subpar players (don't know skill builds, item builds, map awareness, micro control, zoning, and other mechanics, or don't even have optimal key setups) and it puts me in normal or high. The players who I play against in normal or high are clearly WORSE than those in very high by a fair amount. This is to say very high still has plenty of players who do poorly, but there's a difference. People will say the brackets don't matter, but those guys are assholes who are looking to troll. Everyone knows that they really want to be in that very high bracket if they are looking for decent games. So we win a few and maybe lose a few. It might be the friends faults or maybe some teammates. Sometimes we get matched against a 5 stack in normal. Man they can really play decently when coordinated and on ventrillo/skype (I even watched a team's stream while playing against them). But when I go back to queuing...BAM, very high and its a whole different world. | ||

Why are people so mean? Why do they pick support heroes and build carry items (then rage at the team because they lose)? Why do people become so arrogant when they're "winning"? Tell a guy that has 5-0 to come and help you. He'll go apeshit. Why do people just farm enemies at the fountain instead of just killing the Ancient? (I begged my team mates for 5 minutes earlier to just finish the game instead of hooking afk enemies in their base) | ||
