Something that's become blatantly obvious with no concede is that the vast majority of players have no idea how to actually win the game outside of killing the enemy more than they kill you. As soon as one team gets a small advantage they just want to push mid and "end", which normally results in teams trading kills for 20 minutes until someone gets caught or that guy who has afk farmed the jungle for the entire game comes and destroys all.

Feels like these players really should be playing some battle arena rather than dota, because they have no interest in any other part of the game.

The other part to this that irks me is that people complain about long games, yet they pick lategame heroes and/or don't want to close the game out any other way than pushing mid. Games are a lot shorter when you get roshan before pushing or clear out all the outer towers and take over the map so you actually have a large advantage. But no, they want to push mid at 15-20minutes and end the game, then complain when the other team catches up making the game go for 60minutes instead of 30.

Having said this I'm not so much campaigning for a concede option as I am just complaining that people have no idea what to do, probably caused by them winning via concede in hon/dota1.

And that's the thing I would complain about. I'm loosing so many games just because someone wants to farm hours and hours, even though we got a huge advantage now and could easily win by pushing.

It's true that you don't push mid and end the game, but keeping the lanes pushed and get one kill is crucial to get an opportunity to kill rosh or get a set of rax. Most people these days go back to the fountain after a teamkill instead of pushing or doing rosh, that's just plain stupidity.

Just lost a game because my team thought we should just back off and farm when the entire team had 40 seconds left on their respawn and we were on their T4 towers :| They all got really cocky and trying to like 2v5 them, enemy team came back, won the game like 15 minutes later. Sigh.

Completely theoretical situation: Sentinel sends a solo top. Scourge has a jungler + dual at top. Sentinel has solo mid and dual bot + woods furion. Would or would you not think that Sentinel should win middle and bottom lanes? Or at least not COMPLETELY LOSE THEM? Say, just for example, 0-8 in total in 5 minutes? And would one then think that top is the lane that needs help? And that it's a good idea to port top instead of bot/mid to def? Should one then proceed to feed the top lane with two kills?

I just hate people who REFUSE to listen to ANY useful advice. They just want to keep their heads and play sniper. And have 25/2 CS in 15 minutes... And so forth.

I'm completely fuming right now at the fact that we had a wannabe troll on our team. Our clinkz AFK fountains after 1 death, and while we were winning he comes back and tries to solo the remaining opponents. Sometimes I wonder why I even play a game where 40 minutes of your own time get flushed down the drain because of some troll.

For one it's discouraging to even try really hard to win when you have idiots like these everywhere in the matchmaking qeueu.

Does anyone know a channel on DotA2 or on IRC (excluding TLIH) where I can find inhouses?

Played game just now. No one went mid, so I had to as WR. So far, no complaints... Four minutes into the game, I realize that the courier wasn't bringing items. After a few minutes, I figure out that the courier keybinds had somehow changed since the last time I played dota. It took a good ten minutes figuring out just what the hell happened and fixing the keybinds. By that time, I was level 5 and the enemy team had effectively killed us.

That was awful. An entire game for the other four members of my team was ruined, and it was completely my fault. Deserved all the flaming I got.

I'm fking tired of the idiots that think that dota is just a "use your hero" game, and don't know a shit the basics of the game so they have ZERO map awareness. And of curse, they think they are like almost at pro level. And of curse they ask to solo when they suck hard at farming.

OK so our team is up in team kills something like 14 to 4 at the 15 minute mark. We are up in towers and clearly better farmed than the other team. The other team's huskar D/Cs so they only have 4 players. So what does my team decide to do? Instead of winning the game, they decide to feed, one by one. My whole team goes to our jungle to farm... not farm lanes, not push a lane and win the game because the other team only has 4 and are underfarmed at that... no they want to farm our jungle together. And then proceed to go mid 1 by 1 so the other team who is always roaming with 4 kills them. My team proceeds to feed their riki from 0-2 to 22-2. We proceed to lose the game from there. I fucking love DotA pubs.

Wake up sunday morning, queue game. Random noob gets into your team. Buys nothing says he's rushing soul ring on skeleton king, and feeds 5 times within the first 5 minutes. Disconnects, you loose game.

Queue next game, same noob joins your team, takes weaver, and does the same fucking thing. WHY???? I cant even exit the game once I see team mates, I have to play it out and wit for game is safe to leave

Had a match, I was viper. Went mid against drow. Completely dominated drow in LH and denials. Was doing very well, was at the point where I pretty much killed everyone on their team, wiping the floor with Ursa. Pretty much had the game in the bag if no one did anything stupid...

Well, people started doing stupid things; going for fights alone. The LS was a complete newb, he went 2/16, he pretty much aided in feeding BH and drow. Now, I could handle some of the fights. I had mantra, I even had a MKB to tear them down. But they got fed so much that I could no longer fight them. Drow ended up getting stronger than myself, and no want went dust or gem (I went gem since BH was killing my teammates).

My teammate tide went treads and complained of not having mana. He used it ult on ursa... when we was alone, being attacked by 3 of us... We ended up losing which royally pissed me off. I do not consider myself good; but playing at the level where I should not be having players feeding non-stop and not knowing simple basics of their heroes.

I've gotten into the habit of not queuing for a few minutes when ever I have a bad game just so I do not get the same people. Since I know that feeling very well. I do not know why, but as of this week, the leavers have gotten out of hand. They were a problem before, but it seems like I am getting 5+ games of leavers throughout the night (not so much the day though).
