Just got matched with 4 dudes that had 42-23-12-0 wins. And I have 200. And I am on a pretty solid losing streak atm. We were facing a team with average 120 wins (lowest had 43)... What do Valve expect? That there's a chance that the 0 win guy turns out to be a chinese pro that just got his key? | ||

My win-loss ratio is about 50% though. Although, it was much worse when I started. It was about 20%, but I'm improving :D I didn't know there was a working matchmaking for Dota2, I thought it just filled the games with available people. | ||

I noticed on average, there were better players. But than there are matches where they are nearly complete newbs and I wonder why they ended up in the match. There is a system in place, it just needs to be worked on with a larger player pool as well. | ||

The fundamental difference here is that you cannot communicate with them. If an English-speaker screw up, you can talk to them and explain, and SOME (not all) will be receptive to your advice. The same cannot be done about the Russians, and that frustrates the hell out of people. | ||

I know how annoying it is not being able to communicate with your teammates, I've been there. But don't you think the Russians feel the same when they join a game with four English-speakers? Just make the best of it. Sit back and play a game, don't be a twat. | ||

Im not english speaking, I can also speak a language noone on my team can understand but I dont cuz I try to comunicate with them in a way they understand, most russians dont, I doubt they dont know enough english to comunicate basic things in dota like push ect. they just dont want to and that anoys me | ||

If the game was in russian, and was played on russian servers, sure, you could make that argument, but as it is, you really can't. And on top of that, the people who spew russian all over the chat typically do have a good enough understanding of english to understand that "pugna top, SF mid", means just that, and not pugna mid, SF bot or some shit, but they just refuse to acknowledge that there are actually other players in the game too. There are lots of russians who are very good players, and who behave well, but because they don't speak russian and only russian throughout the entire game, people may never even find out that they're russian. All that put together creates a bad stereotype. | ||
