CM, captain doesn't know what he is doing. first pick AA when shadow shaman and windrunner is in the pool. After they get veno and rhasta, he picks lich. We suggest pudge (would have been great for the line up) but then he bans him in second phase.
Top lane is tri vs tri, with (us, dire) DK (me) lich (captain) chen vs mirana sand king veno (the latter 2 who roam). At the start of the match, we see SK walk from the river to the side of the lane, where lich decides "hey, it would be a great idea to walk into that and nuke him with... sacrifice? Needless to say, FB, I could do nothing. Chen gets ganked in jungle and dies, wards are put in screwed up places that mean I can't actually see if im going to get ganked, and only covers a small area of ways to gank chen. Lich then decides to roam cause mid was getting ganked as well (as if he could stop the 2 man gank). Lane gets pushed, I can't last hit vs mirana that is a level higher than me with FB bonus gold, I get ganked while lich is elsewhere, wards dont see anything, ect ect. Only reason I had any last hits in that lane is because I whored on so many consumables as DK and spammed my breath. Also, with the roaming lich, he maxed sacrifice first, with only one point in nova.
When they start camping my lane, I try to switch lanes, but then my entire team switches to my new lane which makes them come as well. No farm all game.
Then he goes on about how batrider is a terrible pick, he's basically veno except worse late game. Says that he is only good at level 6.
I get called out for not having a blink dagger, after I've been the only one warding all game, getting dust and TPs to try and help people. Pretty normal, I guess.
At the score screen (we lost), I find out that the AM who's been complaining about our team all game has 31 last hits. After 40 minutes.

Stay classy, dota 2 pubs.
how the fuck can someone fail that much at last hitting? Like even in a pro game most supports have more CS than that after 40mins. Like...holy fail. Really words don't do that fail justice.
me: "please give a hero i know how to play: shaman/dazzle/wd/silencer ... sth like this" captain: "no, you have to play what i pick for you"
game lost and he rages about me, for not beeing pro on my hero. ... what should i say, even matchmaking is more fun to play. every time trilane, every time the same picks... soooo boring.
but thats TL-spirit i guess: VIDEO GAMES ARENT FUN; ITS HARD WORK!

Or people like wining and not picking shitty heroes. That is the reason their are TL IH's. For competitive play.

nope, playing competative dosent have anyting to do with "we may play only 15 out of 80 heros" there are enough pro-teams who play different heros.
in fact, i have played a lot of dota at dotapickup, when i was active at wc3 dota. i have played several gamemodes, but there is only one concern of -cm. in my opinion -cm devides the skillrange very large. sure, you (and me, too) want to play interesting and skillfull games, but there is no reason to limit the mode, where only one player has the decision about the whole team. the games get far more interesting if people just are good at the heros they play, more than having a "perfect team".
i really think you miss the fact that, even if this is inhouse, it is still a public game only. and it will never be ANYWHERE near a clanwar - skillwise.

hahahahahahahahahahah

okay
no. they're rarely any better than pub solo queue.
I blame Dendi for players picking Pudge, then failing spectacularly, trying to emulate what he does. Nonono, you don't hook a slowed DS, you wait until he hastes himself, then throw your hook, miss and blame Viper. >_>

You don't even have to be pro to get more CS than that playing support...

Or people like loosing, cause if you are the drafter, and expect everyone to be a robot and play every hero equally well, then you can't expect to win. Even professional players have preferences... So no. And btw, shaman/dazz/wd are competitive heroes, and silencer too in some situations...
Enemy team is attempting to push the base tower but extremely hesitant to committing inside our base. Game is extremely close and this team fight will be the difference between a comeback and a loss.
Random team member decides to charge outside the base, everyone follows and fights the enemy team off the tower on the low ground (for no apparent reason). We lose.

True story, the higher skill level isnt even hard to get to, so many terrible players there.. I don't have anything to really rage about, but the last few games, there has been someone on our team who will not pick until after the creeps spawn.
They're like I don't know who to pick, I think we need a carry. I'm like we have a sven and an ursa, I think we're alright. He's like nope, sven and ursa aren't carries, and proceeds to pick some shitty hero and make it really hard to win.
Is there an MMR system in dota 2 yet? I have like a 60% winrate but I'm still playing with people that are worse than in WC3 pubs, I don't understand. It's possible that I just haven't played enough games yet though.

TLIH was made for organized play. then it evolved into a irc channel. Games were fun and competitive.
