Step 1. Test it on dota 1 just to make sure, and record it(video or images). Step 2. Post it on http://dev.dota2.com Step 3. Watch it being fixed on the next patch.
I already reported quite a few errors(for example, creep behavior while Disarmed, confirmed EMP range that was wrong on their website) that were fixed. That's how a beta works.

So I ended up in a party with Vigoss through a common friend, and our random 5th guy completely threw the game with a 1-13 dk or something. Do I win this thread?

Normally VS changes fights...I've won 4 games in a row with her, just swapping one hero out, stunning one of the others, then howling the whole team. Surviving most of the time too. But if your Leshrac misses his stun on stationary targets...
Edit: I also suck with Dazzle, I think that's my worst hero. XD

By contrast I'm pretty awful with VS lol XD. Dazzle however is by far my fav hero. We should team up in MM to play the supports of pubs since everyone always picks the carries lol.

Lost like 18 of 20 last TLIH. I play 4 games againgst buugi, lose every single one because we get outpicked and outplayed like mad, then i get to be in buugis team and he picks fucking retarded shit and we lose. The same continues again and again with other captains. Then i play with some people who play like shit in my team the next game the same guy is suddenly 10-0 pudge in the opponents team. And its not even my fault most of the times :D
Edit: Just lost with invoker and dark seer in my team

My QQ is that I'm never able to be anything other than "that noob" that ruins games and feeds the other team, etc. It's like, the game starts well, I harass a bit, get some last hits and everything is just dandy. But at about level 6 I just can't do anything anymore. I get killed instantly, I'm unable to farm or gain levels. Every game I've played lately has basically ended up with me dicking around for 30 minutes, waiting for the other team to finish the game.
It's gotten to the point where I really don't understand how this game got to be so popular. From where I'm standing, it looks like some horribly designed, unfun garbage that is way too complex for its own good. I'm unhappy that Valve did nothing beside do a straight port of Dota, because the game needs fundamental change to be made more available to new players. And the fact that games have to go on for 50 minutes despite being decided in the first 15 is inexcusable as far as game design goes. :\

Good DotA play comes with experience. Learning basic mechanics are something that should be easy enough for anyone to do, such as last hitting, denying, minimap awareness, and warding. Eventually you will also learn the skills of all the heroes and their offensive and defensive capabilities, so you know what you are up against. Strategy and tactics only come after that.
But then again, there are people who will not "get it." My friend who I've played DotA with for over 6 years is still a subpar player even though I try to teach him how to get better. If you think you aren't getting it and will never improve, then maybe DotA isn't the game for you.

Practice looking on the minimap constantly, if you die as often as you say, then chances are you're over extending yourself when there are heroes missing from the map.

pudge is a hero that requires a lot of subtle stuff to be really good with.
If pudge gets fed he is insane, a pudge that is underlevelled is a really sad sight.
try someone like AA ...
Some heroes are level dependant, others are gold dependant. Pudge is level dependant imo early on when it counts - but is also mele with a skill based skill.
You should try some ranged heroes like ancient apparition, outworld destroyer (both are also decent mid).
I enjoy playing pudge but meet a similar fate if i fuck it up at all - i r noob too, Try int heroes ... they go a bit off after 30 mins though and they have more point to them than grab bad guy, munch ... wonder why team left you to die.
Dont play cm ... best way to waste 40 mins imo, yeah she has global aura but your still playing 4v5 (well when i play her you are playing 4v6 but thats another story - she doesnt move fast and has a shit ult because she is squishy ... same for lich tbh imo).
Try ancient apparition for a totally different game exp ... go mid, get to lvl 6 and spam the ult. Get your first skill up (only 1 that does any damage ... and stuns if they are stupid and dont run) followed by second which has an obnoxiously long range on it and can kind of scout. When you land his ult you will giggle.
AA will massivley increase your map awareness btw as you will be looking for opportunities to ult all the time.
Some heroes are TOTALLY different in how the game feels to others. Hunt about - I suck with cm but can pretend to be reasonable with aa yet have only played 1/10 of the games with him compared to cm. Its like naix and slardar ... i am good with naix but slardar just seems to be missing something for me + I just dont enjoy him as much.
Lack of concede vote really is wasting half my evening though. 20 mins in a pointless game is really criminal.

You guys have problems with pubs in dota2? It's probably your fault.
Compared to HoN and LoL and even ordinary masters level games in sc2 I find dota2 beta to be filled with the least amount of irrationality or rage.
I'm basking in the experience while it lasts.

I didn't actually read it, because I feel I'm reasonably well informed on the game, it's just that I'm completely unable to put any of that information into practice.
By the way, does the matchmaking system put you up against other players of the same skill? because it certainly doesn't feel like that..

AA is really easy to fuck up early on and then youll never get started anymore. You have like 600hp and you cant really get HP items other than power treads because they arent that good. cold feet is useless on its own, you need to time it or chain it up with other spells. The ulti is really hard to place right in a team fight because it either takes really long time to fly or you need to react and instaclick within 1 seconds when youre close, but then aoe is small. I think skeleton king is the perfect hero for starts. He has only one active spell, huge damage to lasthit. the items are straightforward and you have a free death every few minutes. If you read a single guide on him and buy the right items you can have fairly fun games even as starter. Edit: and wont feel useless

who was this post directed at? If it was me, then I find all the talk about Pudge a bit confusing. I've never played him.
I'm focusing on Warlock right now. Not too hard to understand, people won't bitch at me for not carrying or whatever and I can be very useful in a team fight... I've played a lot of Broodmother too. She's really fun, but I suck with her..

AA is not a beginner friendly hero. You need good map awareness and you have to know when to run and what other heroes do.He is very fragile hero that needs to be played cautiously.I remember a game I was dying to global ultimates from zeus and prophet and one or two auto attacks. Also dont go mid with aa.He is a support hero. You should leave mid to more item and level dependant heroes.
About CM she is very slow but his skillset is really good.He got one aoe slow and one disable. You shouldnt even level CM s ultimate until you max others.I wouldnt recommend picking her neither because she dies kinda too fast.
What I advise you to do is pick heroes with Oh shit buttons(escape skills).Windrunner, Mirana, QoP etc are heroes with escape mechanisms. You cant play too bad with them.Just try to aim a decent farm every game and dont play risky. It s better to have 1 kill 1 deaths than 5 kill 5 deaths.Eventually you should get used to public games. There are simple patterns and timings you should be aware of.First you should read the chat and look at minimap like every 5 10 secs.If you are side laning when you reach 3.5 4 lvl you should be careful about mid hero positioning. If he is missing you should play safe. You shouldnt push your lane unless you know what you are doing. You should only last hit creeps and if possible pull your creeps to neutral creeps to play safer. After early game try to stick with your team and dont check runes forest alone.Again play safe and defend or attack.
Dota is one of the easiest games to learn especially if you are starcraft player because you should already have some timing sense, decent micro, map awareness which is essential for dota. Also It doesnt matter if you pick support carry or ganker as long as you are good with specific heroes.I d rather to play a game with no support then a useless support.
