I'm thinking of kicking him from my hosted games if he doesnt improve lol ktothez since when are people not allowed to have fun in inhouses, if i wanted to tryhard and stack i would go do matchmaking? and btw my friends are all from old inhouse group. i dont know why people take inhouses so seriously. and kick me from your games, please if do that then everyone would just leave and a game i host. The main reason why I have a problem with you is the toxic attitude you seem to exhibit. I feel theres no way to expand tlih further if you troll, say things like ez game, etc. You are obviously allowed to have fun in inhouses, but not at other people's expense. Edit: Aintz I'm sure you're a quaint guy but the main issue I think is that you may be treating everyone in the inhouse as your friend. The issue that they they are not your friends, and as such may not take as kindly to your antics as you may think. The main reason I make a deal out of this is because I feel the original TLIH was a gleaming banner of "competitive-ish games with non-competitive players". However, eventually due to the massive influx of players we had to resort to player drafting, which in turn created a sort of "club" of people who always got picked. Thus it became "competitive-ish games with competitive-ish players", which in turn spurns newer players away from the TLIH. I think the main issue is the establishment of a "us vs them" mentality, such as in your post you treat "old tlih" as some sort of club. I want to create an excellent learning environment in my TLIH games. As an example, in one game I played yesterday I had a solo wr against a trilane bot. The player was not trained in playing against trilanes, so he had fed several kills and seemed quite frustrated. We made it clear to him that this was just a friendly inhouse, and that his mistakes are extremely common and frequently made, but when we get smack-talked it really ruins the friendly atmosphere and, in my opinion, damages player retention in return.

Yeah, I was that windrunner. Just wanted to say that I really appreciate having a place to learn to play the game in a more competitive sense without getting burned for being inexperienced and making mistakes. So I'm all for having the kind of atmosphere that you're talking about. I mean where else am I going to learn how to solo against a trilane---low-level pub all-pick games? Not likely. Even in the few captain's mode games I've played about half have had 2/1/2 lanes from at least one team.
