Cyro was not right. It's not in the DVI standard, but the cards that do HDMI audio will also often do audio over DVI

Friend would prefer to complete his computer before Xmas... I bought the card at 169$. Within the same price range, what are my other options? How good is the integrated GPU? Haswell has integrated GPU right?

Yes, Haswell has integrated but it's not very good if you're going to be gaming at 1080p.

Both CPU and GPU loads and frequencies have a huge effect on the interference, I was at a store and decided to grab a sound card. Using it now and it works great! Pretty annoying that the integrated card doesn't work properly though. I had this too, and as I like to say, "If the integrated sound isn't adequate then buy a soundcard."

The CPU is an AMD Trinity part, which is currently last generation. They had a Richland upgrade since then that was slightly better and more efficient, but that's no big deal. However, Kaveri should be coming soon in the next year, and that will bring a manufacturing process semibump and an improvement in CPU architecture. Regardless, Kaveri will still lag behind modern Intel processors at similar core counts, so Trinity is that much further back despite its clock speeds. It's hard to find CPU reviews for that part specifically perhaps, but the A8-5600K should have similar CPU performance and the A10-5800K not that much ahead: http://www.anandtech.com/show/6347/amd-a10-5800k-a8-5600k-review-trinity-on-the-desktop-part-2 The graphics card is the (edit: second) lowest-end part on current-generation tech (or so) for AMD. It should handle most AAA games today on reduced graphics settings and particularly resolutions below 1080p. In the future you'd definitely need to run some games on low settings or replace it. It fits in a little bit below the old HD 7750, if you want to look that up. Check benchmarks for the games you're interested in.

http://speccy.piriform.com/results/ZAYYIChIJkLYNW2nqn527vt I am looking to upgrade my setup, I have about 200$ to spend. I suspect the best thing to do is upgrade the motherboard. I need a board that will overclock my CPU and fully utilize the Vertex 4 SSD. I also want the ability to RAID a couple of SSDs. The cost-benefit ratio is a big concern of mine, so im looking for biggest bang for my buck. My PC is officially for work purposes and I have 4 monitors set-up on it running at 3840 x 768 through the GTX 560 Ti. Having said that, I do want to take advantage of any gaming ability the i7-2600k can produce. Any advice? What do you think about my setup? Im pretty new to working with PCs so any advice is greatly appreciated.

Edit: @Polansky: Maybe look at this list: http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/motherboard/#c=52&sort=a8 Not sure which of the Z77 boards are the best but I have a slight feeling that Gigabyte's are. You'll have to see which ones do RAID and whatnot. What's your CPU heatsink btw? You'll probably have to upgrade that if you wanna overclock.

Ah, knew I didn't recognize it. Your 760 should easily fit in there.
