I wan't to buy a mechanical keyboard, I have around 80€ to spend. I can't decide between the steelseries 6gv2 and the razor darkwidow. I like the fact that the blackwidow has some macro keys at the left (it can always be usefull), but the 6gv2 and steelseries seems to be more reliable, also the 6gv2 is smaller, i like that. Could someone help me decide or propose something else for the same price (or less) ?

There is other cheap mechanical keyboards like Das (student discount), Roswell, Ducky DK1008 which is rated highly in most reviews.

Yes, I got mine for christmas. It has black switches which are perfect for me, but some people feel that they can be tiring to type on. The best thing about the MEKA is how small and compact it is. I think it's more than 20cm shorter than my old Logitech one, and is thus fantastic for people with small desks like me . Overall I think it's pretty good. Feels about the same as a 5gv2 (or whatever that Steelseries one is called), so would recommend getting a MEKA if you can get one cheap.

Only downside to this keyboard is the sapcebar is somewhat low quality, rest of the keys are great!! Gettin used to a mech keyboard for the first time in my life!! thats really the only downside I've heard of with those keyboards that some of the spacebars on some of them are just trash. The only thing they have going for them is the filco controller.

I have a das silent (brown) and I asked for an exchange for the blues because everyone who owned a blue switch loved it while browns got mixed/positive feedback instead of 100% positive. So what do you think for those who owned both. your question has been answered a 100 times, and the difference is the build quality...... Thats why filcos cost $150-175 usd, duck'y cost like $50-150 and das are shit in my opinion (130-150) blues vs browns, read up in the thread to get a better idea.

the shine finish leaves finger prints. Who likes finger prints. They are fucking overpriced for same quality as a $100 board. Nice....... The only boards I'm willing to spend more than $140 are ducky shines/filcos/topre hhkb boards that are quality made and are actually worth the $150-500
