Hi, I got a question:
Since I started a bit experimenting with pictures/banners for LR thread I would like to know what´s the backround-color. I´ve seen several banners that have the same backround as the post so you can only see the letter, I guess you know what I mean. Example ![[image loading]](http://i39.tinypic.com/333a6wh.png)
No clue how I can get that from the sourcetext, started to search for the line "background-color" but all codes I found didn´t result in the right color. Quite confusing if you see this the first time.

Transparent >.>
edit: to be more clear, the images have a transparent background.

Ahhh shit, and I thought it´s something complicated... Like I said, new to it
Thank you!

Hi
I tried asking before but it got buried in other questions so i will try again.
when I play on my pc sometimes my monitor starts blinking like i'm tabbing out every half second. To make it stop i have to tab out like 1-3 times and then everything is fine. it seems like some windows programs take priority over sc2 and tries to get acces or something like that. i dunno much about computers.... any simple solution for this?

Hello,
I dont have a great connection, the optimal resolution for me is 360p. I can watch most anything at 360p fluently. Anyways something strange happens when im watching live casts. In short, my stream studders, and at first i thought it was the connection as well. But then i realized that it studders only on some parts, specially when its interesting. Like right before a battle, or continualy at the start of games. And when a caster is speaking, or nothing is going on, the stream works fine. I tried later at 240p and same thing happens. Im guessing the connection is not the problem, what could it be? Can i do something to fix it?

How do I change the background image for the windows 7 login? Not the user profile image, not the desktop background, but the background that you see when you're typing your password in.

That is on the streamer's part. Generally, whenever there is action, there is memory-spiking and speed-halting due to it being graphically intensive.
When nothing is going on, the streamer's computer/upload speed doesn't have to put up with any strain other than from his screen-capturing program.
For example, when you are playing a 3v3 with everyone 200/200, you're probably going to tank your fps.
For a streamer, you can set the limit much much lower because he/she has memory dedicated to make the streaming program smooth. When the streamer hits that limit, the computer will try to allocate memory to either the game you're playing (SC2) or the streaming program (XSplit etc etc) to keep one running smooth. However in the process of balancing it out, the streaming program is not getting enough juice to churn out a smooth video for all the viewers.

Seems like your drivers arent working right. Try reinstalling your graphics driver, make sure you do a complete uninstall.
If the problem persists, also use HWMonitor and give me a temperature reading of the max values for your CPU and GPU.
Also check to make sure the graphics card is seated firmly and properly.

Thanks! That explains it. So is there anything i can do? It seems like theres no way around it. I must live in lag Oh well, I can still watch very good streams or vods, not that big a deal.

i have a steelseries kinzu and it periodically "dies" for about 5-15seconds maybe once every few hours. Is this reaction typical of old mice?

I dunno i think this is a simple question.

Java isn't the same as javascript afaik, there should be some sort of option in your settings like a checkbox that says "Enable javascript"

Is it possible to transfer an existing SSD with Windows 7 installed on it from one computer and boot it on another computer?
|
Yes but you may experience some instability since you'll be missing drivers and have the wrong drivers installed.

Yes if you have the latest firefox it's Tools -> Settings and then in the third tab from the left. The "Enable JavaScript" box must be checked.
If he have this already enabled I'd guess its some kind of internet security program that are messing with him.
