The box command will NOT complete (and thus select units) until you release the left click. If you're not dealing with a lot of unit types (for instance, just stalkers or marines or roaches), you might consider double-clicking as a selection option instead of a box. This should remove the tendency to hold the left mouse button. Otherwise, go into a custom game, make a bunch of units, and just practice boxing them while looking at the unit panel in the bottom left screen. Box units while looking at the unit wireframes, NOT the units themselves. Mentally watch the selection of units, de-select, and do it over again until you train yourself to actually select units. There is no possible advice we can give you to get SC2 to give orders to units you haven't selected. Unless you know of a psychic-power-enabling PCI-e expansion card I haven't heard of.

The Mobo is a Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2P-B3 and the Mic a Razer Carcharias. The onboard sound card is called VIA HD 1708. The headset is working great on my notebook, so it's not the problem. I already tried increasing the mic volume up, increasing the boost to +30dB and tried all the effects available on the sound card's driver, but it is still too low (barely audible). Is there any way to fix it or should I buy a new sound card? Thanks in advance!

I know right? They have to figure people are just gonna go: "Fuck it lemme just use the mouse instead." At least we cant blame them for having good foresight.

I've gotten just about everything to work, but im having a bit of trouble with audio. I can get it out to my stream okay, but it is EXTREMELY quiet, and I have no idea how to fix it without cranking up my system audio and blowing my ears out. The sound in FMLE is set to max, so im not sure what else to do...
