You listed only two SKUs.. one is OEM (no packaging except the processor) and one is retail (packaged). If both are available in OEM and retail, why don't you list the four links?

My CPU fan doesn't work. I just moved, so I figured something got loose, but I checked and the fan is still firmly set on the CPU and everything seems to be alright. More importantly, the fan speed can be checked properly (if I give the fan a nudge, the CPU fan speed RPM rises for a moment both in the BIOS and with various software), and at one point while I was testing out various stuff in the BIOS (without saving anything) the fan started to spin properly for a good minute before stopping again. I couldn't reproduce that again, though, and I don't think I had anything to do with it. I'm very confused. Could this be a software problem? I installed stuff like SpeedFan some weeks ago and toyed with it, but the fan doesn't work even before windows starts. Or is it a hardware problem, and if so what could it be, considering that the RPM speeds are measured correctly?

Started spinning out of nowhere and stopped after 30 seconds or so once the CPU temp was at an acceptable temperature.. then let it heat up again without doing anything. Kind of sounds like a loose contact, but everything looks fine from the outside.

But, you say you've checked those settings, so no clue. try connecting a case fan to that mobo header, see if the behavior is the same. Don't run anything intensive while doing that, though.

That's kinda possible. As I said, I toyed around with SpeedFan, but I checked everything multiple times and I couldn't find anything that would screw with my fan like that. Not to mention that it should still work properly in the BIOS. I should also mention that setting the option in the BIOS to have the fan run at 100% at all times didn't work, either. Connecting another fan to the header is a good idea though, I'll do that next.

This is how it goes. I live at the moment in a cabin a bit away from the town, about 5-10km away. Since there is no ground line to where the cabin is the internet comes from a wireless transmitter about 25-50meter from my cabin. The wireless transmitter is connected to a cable laid down by the farmer who own the cabin. The cable goes about 100-300meters up to his house, where its connected to the modem, and from there sent out to the world. The connection is 5/0,5mbps, so its not a whole lot, but Im able to play online if no one is downloading torrents. Note: there is 4 cabins here all using the wireless transmitter. The problem however is that, I believe someone is torrenting, all the time... Sometimes when Im on the internet, it doesn't matter if I play or just search on TL, I can experience a dramatic shift in the speed. If Im gaming, I just have to quit, because I cant do shit, and when Im surfing it suddenly takes up to a whole min to open a site. So what I want to know is, how can I find out who is download on the lan connection, without breaking into the modem?
