Depends on what type of computer you have. If it's a prebuilt PC like an HP or Dell, there's a recovery partition on the HDD, and you can use the recovery manager that should have come installed with your PC to reinstall windows and reset to factory settings. If it's older, it may have a recovery disc that will reinstall Windows.

If it's a PC you built or manually installed Windows 7 on, just put the Windows 7 disc in. When it asks you where you want to install windows, delete the existing partition and create a new one, you will be prompted to format the partition. A quick format is all that is required.

Mind you, neither of these will completely delete data. If you're looking to format before throwing out the HDD, you want to use something like Darik's Boot and Nuke, or Eraser; both of which can be downloaded for sourceforge.net

This is EM interference, and is a pretty common thing. More than likely the headphones jack is close to the power and HDD LEDs. Could also be caused by a USB port, if you have a front one. Easiest solution is to use the rear port. otherwise moving the cables around in the front or just unplugging the front LEDs altogether might solve the issue.

this is not the first time, but today, when i came back i just turn on my computer, and open a couple of stream for EPS spring
and it freezed....

im no good at computer...cant check temperature or anything.........(that's why i include i just turn on like 2 mins)

I don't think this has anything to do with your GPU or hardware at all. Sounds like an issue with Flash Player to me. Update Flash player if you have not done so, if you're still having issues try completely uninstalling and reinstalling it. Could also try turning off hardware acceleration (right click on a flash video item and go to the options), which would probably solve the issue. Also make sure your browser is updated.

Looks like it's primarily a hardware issue. Most likely scenario is overheating.

what do you mean by lagging? in game lag ... stream lag ...

stream wise, should be enough bandwidth for 720p. you just need to play around with fps and quality settings to find your sweet spot. gameplay wise, there will be a drop in performance, of course.

Best way to find out would be to just try it, but you SHOULD be able to.

Just use VHSC and FMLE to test it before paying for anything.

Some of the components may get a bit hot without the case airflow cooling them as well.

Intel Burn Test is good for a quick stability test, and then you can use P95 for longer term tests.

I'm slightly confused. I basically tried to set up a really brief overclock for my friend (I'm only at his house for a few minutes and I don't have time to do anything proper) so I just did a 4ghz overclock for him. Obviously not much, but I plan on increasing it later. CPU-Z has the Core Voltage at 1.28V (which I think might be high? It seemed like it was at 1.21 in the BIOS, although I might have changed a setting and forgot to reset it.) but Core temp says the VID is 1.366V. Are these two different terms, or is one of them reading the wrong thing? I don't think I did anything that should drastically break his computer though, just kind of confused. + Show Spoiler +

From my understanding, VID is known as the voltage ID; it is the default voltage value that your BIOS would use when it's set to auto. As for the Core Voltage you're seeing in CPU-Z, that would be the actual voltage going to the processor. The real value (as in CPU-Z), should always show up lower than the VID, and will vary based on load.

That would make me feel good then. Should I be tuning for a lower voltage? Ultimately I will probably be hitting 4.2-4.4 for him. Nothing insane.

Might be handy to reference if you want to try pushing your friend's CPU more. In a general sense, you'll always want the lowest voltage possible while maintaining stable operation.

Hmm yeah seems like it is definitely a bit high. It was set at 1.21 in the BIOS earlier I think, so I'm not sure why it's higher. Either way, 1.28 isn't high enough I think to fry the chip, so I guess its not a dangerous situation
