It depends on the company, but if they are anywhere near decent they'll sort it for you anyway, but they might be douchebaggy about it and demand a receipt in which case you're screwed. It's also possible that they will charge you for repairs or a swap, either way it's best to try.

I'm owning the Steelseries Sensei Raw for about 3weeks now. Compared to my Razer Imperator, which was like: + Show Spoiler + The steelseries feels like + Show Spoiler +
I'll never go back.

After I gave them the product name, product number, and product id, they asked for my address and are shipping me a new g400. Apparently it's a common problem. Hopefully the new one will no longer have angle snapping
It was logitech, very helpful though it was like a 30 minute phone call.

Has anyone tried the Zowie AM?

I've been on the hunt for the perfect mouse for a long time. I've bought many mice and while each one has something that I like, they also have something that I dislike, so I find myself switching between my Deathadder and my Zowie Evo EC2 every few days. Maybe you guys can help me find it?
What I like about my Deathadder is that the omron switches are very responsive and feel nice to click - probably my favorite part about the mouse. What I dislike about it: it's way too large and heavy for my relatively small hands, the sides have no grips so it becomes very slippery, and it has a very large lift-off distance. Has some negative acceleration @ 450 DPI. If I use a higher DPI and lower the sensitivity in the driver software, then pixel skipping occurs.
What I like about my Zowie Evo EC2 is that the mouse is almost the perfect shape and size, it has a very small lift-off distance, it has a nice texture that makes it easy to grip, and is not too heavy. What I dislike about it: Clicking requires quite a bit of force and my index finger hurts REALLY badly if I play SC2 for more than a couple hours, and it has a strange build defect where the laser light shines through a gap between the body and the scroll wheel which reflects off of my monitor and shines directly into my eye.
So basically, both have severe flaws.
1. What's your grip style? Fingertip.
2. What's your sensitivity? 400-600 dpi.
3. What's your maximum budget? $200
4. Do you want additional buttons? Don't care either way
5. What games do you play? Starcraft 2
6. Do you mind angle snapping? Yes I mind.
7. Other relevant information: Any negative/positive accel is a dealbreaker. Same with angle-snapping. One thing that I have discovered that I very strongly dislike are Huano switches - they cause fatigue in my finger after long sessions. Omron switches feel the most comfortable to me. Also, I strongly prefer using large cloth pads, particularly the QCK+, so it's important that the mouse doesn't jitter on cloth pads.
I'm eyeing the Razer Abyssus right now, but I have heard mixed accounts of its performance on cloth pads. Anyone using one with a QCK+ mouse pad or know if any cloth pads work well with it?

I'm having bit of the same issue, should I get Xai or Sensei Raw? Both are Steelseries, in the same price zone and appear very similar after a quick look.
Currently using Steelseries Qck + MX518 and mostly playing DotA atm.

Hello, would you some help with buying a new mouse.
1. What's your grip style? Finger grip
3. What's your maximum budget? 75$
4. Do you want additional buttons? Would be nice to have 1-2
5. What games do you play? SC2
6. Do you mind angle snapping? No
7. Other relevant information: So far I had a Razer Diamond back which was ok but could be smaller if I look at it now. (I did kill the LMB :p) Then i got myself a Steelseries Kana that didn't actually fit my gripstyle. It was too high and my wrist hurt because of it, so I've sold it. Both mouses were very good if it goes for the setting/technical parameters it's more the shape that I'm looking for.
I would prefer a smaller & more flat mouse.
Thanks.

So, my Logitech G1 broke last week and i got myself a used Razer Diamondback 3G on ebay to try it out sind it has similar shape to the G1. I must say, I am once again disappointed by Razer.
Same story as with the Imperator 2012 and the Abyssus: yes, their mice may use the best sensors and switches available on the market, but the shape is all weird, edgy and uncomfortable and the build quality is subpar compared to other companies' mice. Deathadder was a little different, it felt solid and comfortable, but too heavy for my liking.
Guess I'm reselling the Diamondback and sticking with the Logitech G9 until bst's (esreality) Ninox mice come out.

I have been using a Logitech MX510 forever, but need a replacement as it's on the verge of death. The mouse is really outdated, so I'm not really sure what specs are best for me. I also have a $40 gift card for Micro Center, but I could use it to purchase a nice mouse mat to compliment the new mouse. Thanks.
1. What's your grip style? Fingertip/Claw 2. What's your sensitivity? Uncertain 3. What's your maximum budget? $75 4. Do you want additional buttons? I need the two side buttons at the very least, but don't need it over the top either. 5. What games do you play? FPS, MMO, and RTS games 6. Do you mind angle snapping? Uncertain 7. Other relevant information: The shape of the MX510 has grown on me over the years, but I am willing to change if it benefits my grip style. I would prefer an ergonomic body built for right-handers as compared to ambidextrous and would like on-board memory if possible.

Logitech MX518 was the successor to MX510 and the Logitech G400 is the successor to the MX 518. They all have exactly the same shape, only the hardware has been updated over the years. Plus, it's a really solid mouse for the price. Here, take a look: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Optical-Gaming-High-Precision-910-002277/dp/B0055QZ216/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1349555225&sr=8-1&keywords=logitech g400

Agreed mate, can't wait til it comes out. I have a shitton of mice yet I pretty much only use the G100 because of its shape in spite of its wonky sensor.

Yeah I'm also waiting for the BST mouse. I have been using a Logitech G3 for 6 years now and it is pretty worn out. But the shape suites me the best. I've tried an Abyssus and a CM Storm Xornet but always went back to my G3 after a couple weeks. Hopefully BST's mouse won't get delayed :/ Steelseries Kana would be an alternative but the switches feel like utter crap.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the Tt esports Level 10 M mouse? I saw a picture of MarineKing using it and it looked pretty cool. But I'm not gonna get it just because he's using it. Does anyone have any thoughts?
I think online ive only seen a youtube review that just shows u what the mouse does.

I think online ive only seen a youtube review that just shows u what the mouse does. You've been fed false information. Marineking still uses a G9x, just some special blue design. The TT esports Level 10 M mouse is not a serious gaming mouse, at least not for competitive gaming. It's just one of those mice that is used primarily for marketing and with a ton of "features" that nobody needs.
