Sorry for asking again, but Im going to buy the new mouse next monday so Im in bit of a hurry. Can anyone tell me is Kinzu v2 Pro good for SC2? I like the shape and I do not need extra buttons. Also what pad would go best with it, Steelseries recommend Qck line.

Why are you in such a hurry? If your going to drop ~$50 take the time to make sure you're getting what you want.
Problem with the Kinzu and all Steel Series mice is the built in acceleration that can't be turned off and the angle snapping. If you're okay with those things then it should be fine.

1. What's your grip style? fingertip when playing, palm when doing everything else 2. What's your sensitivity? 80% sensitivity in sc2 with a really slow, crappy old logitech optical mouse 3. What's your maximum budget? 150 USD 4. Do you want additional buttons? NO, I JUST WANT TWO MOUSE BUTTONS AND A MOUSE WHEEL 5. What games do you play? ONLY STARCRAFT 2 6. Do you mind angle snapping? Yes, I mind it, a lot 7. Other relevant information: I want a really light mouse. I've been looking at the abyssus and It looks like the mouse I want, but i'm still not sure. I also need mouse mat recommendations.
The reason why I need a new mouse is because I can't use this crappy old mouse without turning up my pointer speed to 8/11, and I constantly miss buttons(as in buttons on screen) that I'm trying to click.

The V2 Kinzu is somewhat improved over the V1 Kinzu, but leaves a lot to be desired. It still has positive acceleration, but iirc that only happens once you near it's malfunction rate, which is unfortunately low. As a SC2 mouse, it could be ok but that's largely dependent on what your sensitivity is. If you are a low sens player for example, I would not recommend the Kinzu.

I'm assuming that %80 means you want 1200-1600 CPI or thereabouts in your mouse yes? Abyssus is a good choice, but you may want to look into others like the CM Spawn or the Zowie AM.

I checked them out. The spawn has a weird landslide design that makes it look extremely uncomfortable to move around with in a small space. The Zowie AM looks nice, but I can't find a local retailer in my country that sells it. I guess I'm sticking with the Abyssus. Also, the 80% mouse sensitivity is with a crappy old optical mouse that takes ages to move across the screen, so I don't know if 80% mouse sentivity with something like the Abyssus will be totally different from what I'm experiencing right now.

I have been looking into mice, and can't decide between the Kinzu, Abyssus, Deathadder, Tt esports Azurues, or the Logitech g400. Can someone tell me which is the best out of all of these?

It's not a virus lol. silly Norton. Just disable your AV and dl it.

So, with the ADNS-9800 soon to be a thing, is anyone else gonna try and replace the ADNS-9500 in their old mouse? Wonder if the firmware will play nicely. :D
(After the warranty expires, of course...)

Anyone here have a Theron. I've been looking at getting one. Though I really have not had a chance to test one like I have the other Tt mice. The other ones feel a bit small for me since I am so used to using the Naga.
I am torn between the Theron and the Black element. Though I have heard the Black element wasn't as big as the Theron. So I'm a bit leaning toward the Theron.
Anyone have any experience with a Theron?

I was in pc world with my friend today while he was looking for laptops. I noticed a gaming mouse section and I was happy to find that they allowed you to try out all the mice. I really liked the razor death adder and the steelseries sensei. I did prefer the sensei overall but the price was a bit off putting. It was around £70 while the naga was £50. After looking online I noticed that the kana seemed to be a cheaper alternative with the same look and feel.
I was just wondering if anyone has used both the sensei and kana and could inform me of any massive differences. Is the size difference that big?

Is that even correct? If you have a really low sensitivity, you need a really long time to turn around in-game. That isn't all that bad, when you're playing CS, but in Quake it is. If you have acceleration which is activated when passing a certain threshold (say 2 m/s?!) you are able to combine the benefits of two worlds: precision and speed. The acceleration won't mess with your mind a lot, since it only activates when you turn around - and at such high movement speeds you can't be that precise anyways ... I wonder if such a threshold acceleration would make sense for SC 2. SC2 uses a 2d UI and thus operates a lot better using a sensitivity that never requires liftoff or adjustment from the mouse, and is also pixel based instead of degrees of rotation etc, so i think any acceleration at all would be bad Yeah, I think I have to agree with that. I just tried 90 CPI + threshold acceleration, though. Horrible ^^

Hi, I'm looking for a new mouse and would love some recommendations 1. What's your grip style? Claw 2. What's your sensitivity? medium 3. What's your maximum budget? 50-60$ 4. Do you want additional buttons? Doesn't matter 5. What games do you play? SC2 6. Do you mind angle snapping? Not sure
7. Other relevant information: Been using my Microsoft intellimouse 1.1 for a while and I really dont like it. My hands are pretty big and i've been using the Steelseries Ikari, Razer Deathadder and Razer Copperhead before. They all broke after a while and now im looking or a new one. I'd love one with a fast click that keeps working for quite some time.

Hi was wondering if it was worth it to buy a logitech g1 off ebay I'm using a logitech g9x right now it's really good but it sometimes bugs out and it has some accelration im using 1600 dpi and i know the g1 can only go to 1000 but i could just adjust the starcraft 2 mouse speed options What does everyone think thx

I just bought a Kinzu. Tried it on Sc2. I tried to returned this garbage to the shop where I bought it, they refused. I'm trying to find a cool way to hang myself.
|
Steelseries cords are pretty high quality, I suppose you can hang yourself with the mouse.
Is it the Kinzu or Kinzu V2? I heard the V2 was supposed to fix everything that was wrong with the first one.
