The esteemed FKMini V3 has arrived! It is definitely small and in the exact shape of a logitech mini optical. And the dpi settings on the bottom of the mouse only go to 1000,1800,3500. It seems koreans who use this mouse compensate by turning windows sensitivity to 4/11 to simulate 400 dpi. I have done this and it's okay feels close enough for starcraft... overall it's pretty decent and interesting to finally try the exact shape of a LMO. Haven't used it too much but for now i'd rate it a 8.5/10. You probably shouldn't use this mouse if your hands are big.

does the sensor feel different or any more accurate than your g203?

I would say the sensor is definitely decent, and the g203's sensor is considered pretty top notch so you'd have to one of those fps players who know how to test this sensor for everything do it. But for starcraft? There about equal i think the fact that to compensate to get 400 dpi feeling probably makes it weaker but it feels good to me. I think its more about shape and weight for the people that would want this mouse. A lot of korean ex-pros or amateurs use this like Jaedong and Scan.

Edit: Also the cable is rubber, which is good but not as good as g203. Honestly overall g203 is probably a better mouse because its build quality is very solid, very solid sensor, and more suited to different hand sizes while still being on the smaller side. FKmini V3 is for people who just really want that LMO shape and weight. I'm not sure what i'll use I have to play some SC with the Mini more.

Is there a mouse that has a similar shell as the FK2/Kinzu with light clicks and a good sensor? I love my FK2 but the clicks are too stiff for RTS play, the Kinzu doesn't have a great sensor + the clicks feel hollow and my G203 is a bit too small for me to palm it. The struggle is real.

Has anyone tried the Cooler Master Mastermouse, Ninox Venator or Roccat Kone Pure Owl-Eye (non standard shaped mouse)?

There's this thing in the works.

I'm guessing you already know about their other products and the revel.

It's only been about a year and my Logitech G403 is already crapping out on me. The sensor is all over the place.

I'm so sick of modern mice feeling like they have planned obsolescence built in. My old MX518 ran for ages before I decided to replace it. Then, within a few short years, I had two Razer mice, three Mionix mice (an Avior and two Naos), and now the G403 whose tracking is slowly going to shit.

If I could go back in time I would honestly buy 10 brand new MX518s and just keep them in a drawer somewhere.

That sucks. Before we call it dead you're sure there's no dust or hair or anything stuck over the sensor lense? Your pad isn't all flithy or worn out?

The warranty should be two years so you should ask Logitech support for help to get a replacement even if you are disappointed about the mouse and don't want to use it anymore.

Did you use that surface calibration feature that the mouse and its software has? If you did, try to reset things to defaults, and don't use it anymore. I think the calibration it's not needed at all as the only thing it seems to do is reduce the lift-off distance to the minimum possible for a certain surface, but with defaults the lift-off distance is already really low with the sensors used in those mice. The surface calibration feature can't improve the tracking when there's problems on a surface, it can only make it worse.

Just purchased a new keyboard, now i'm in the market for a mouse. I'm currently using a roccat lua due to it's somewhat small form factor and that it only weighs 70g. I'm looking for something extremely close in size(slightly smaller is ok) and equal or lighter in weight. The only thing i've been able to come across is the razer salmosa but it is no longer in production and uber hard to find sealed brand new. Any recommendations out there? My lua feels ok but I wouldn't mind it being a little bit lighter around the 40 or 50 gram range. I generally prefer a minimalist design without any extra buttons. Any recommendations or a lead for a sealed brand new razer salmosa would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think there is a current gaming mouse around the 40-50 gram range. The finalmouse ultralight just came out and is being touted as one of the lightest mice out there. Maybe take a look at one of those?

I have the same preferences and I would like the echo the same question.

Also can someone tell me if the EC2-B is less stiff to click than the FK-2?

I will get an EC2-B if the huano switches on it are less stiff than the FK2s and are something close to omron switches.

I assume it would be comfortable for me to palm grip it. My hands are 18.25cm long and 9.5cm wide.

Hey folks, I'm currently shopping in Korea for mouse and I have it down to the G302 vs the NKEY G007 by SkyDigital. The G302 I can get for $33 and the G007 is $36. The mouse I am coming from is a Logitech G1 that has crapped out after years of service.

I don't really need a mouse that is the same as the G1, I'd just like something solid for Starcraft Remastered. Please advise.

If you know of a mouse that is superior and somehow cheaper, let me know.
I am solely using gmarket.co.kr because I hate waiting and I don't want to ship from Amazon. Thanks folks!

edit: I also found the fkmini

As of now, I am leaning towards the G302 because I think it's more reasonably priced for the quality you get.

thank you! I am going with the g203. G102 is the same as g203, just available in different regions. Great price as well!

Get both man. Holy fuck 35 dollars. Get both, try both.

This is an item you're gonna be using more than your shoes, more than any single pant you own. The only thing you'll be using more are maybe your glasses, if you own them.

So I bought my wife the razer chroma a while back, but she says lately she feels its too big for her hands, are there any mouse that any of you might suggest?

She mentioned it felt a bit wide, and long, also that known bulged that razer is known for on their mouses bothers her as well.
Life?
