I bought the g102 aka g203. I'm keen to know what you think of it TT1. I changed from logitech g1 to g102 and I found it very different. Not sure if I'm just used to the prediction on the G1 or if the g102 just felt inaccurate.

Didn't get it yet but the G102/G203 has a great sensor. But yea you're gonna feel a big difference if your old mouse had prediction. There's definitely gonna be a settling in period, give it a few weeks.

Just got it, man i love the shape. Palming it feels way better than when i palm my FK2, it just fits my hand way more naturally (i have small to medium'ish hands). Haven't had the time to game with it yet tho.

Agreed, its a dope mouse. I don't use claw but my hand seems to feel best using claw with this mouse... Can palm it as well, very good mouse. Love the DPI button that lets me swtich between very simple DPI's.

800 dpi with no ingame sens (i think 50% ingame sens = window speed anyways)

i was thinking about trying 900 dpi because i started playing on widescreen recently, imo 800-1k dpi on widescreen (with no ingame mouse sens) is fine.

Nice. Tested both your sens and liked both. Funny enough the windows sens on 6 and 800 dpi felt really good for me.. might roll with that for a while. Its a good mouse. Definitely light enough.

Btw TT1 that aliexpress says currently unavailable :/

i've tried a few smaller mice now, and tried for about 150 starcraft games to switch to fingertip grip, but it just doesn't feel as natural as when i palm grip my beloved mx mx518. unfortunately my mx518 is in pretty rough state though, are there any modern mice with a very similar shape?

I would try the G403 instead of the G402. I know the shape is changed compared to the MX518, but the G402 is also a bit changed compared to how the MX518 was.

The G403 looks really nice but I'm worried it will be too short for me, when palming the mx518, my fingers already extend slightly over the mousebuttons, and i read that the g403 is slightly smaller, also i rest my right pinky to the right of the right mouse botton, and thats not possible with either g402 or g403

You could buy the G403 somewhere where you know they will accept the mouse back if you don't like the shape after you hold it once in your hand, like for me here I know amazon.de won't have an issue with accepting the mouse back in an opened box.

About the G402 instead, its shape could be good for what you want. I have an MX500 and a G402 I can compare here. If I palm both, my fingers extend slightly over the front of the buttons on the MX500, but with the G402 the buttons are longer and go to the edge of the mouse. A problem you could run into with the G402 is that the right edge next to the right mouse button of the mouse is different. The edge there is not rounded and is higher than on the MX500.

Note I can't really say how the MX500/518 shape feels and compares to the G402 shape when palming. When I used those two mice, I always grabbed them more towards the back with some sort of finger-tip or claw grip. I can't palm mice as I get pain in the hand when I do that.
