So I've tested a DA '13 at a friend's, and he might be coming over later so I can feel it a bit more. Of course, except the fact that I'd have to get used to the mouse, the right mouse button felt less responsive than the left, it's ''click'' was louder and more enjoyable than the right. Should both buttons sound and feel the same when pressed, and is this just a defect in his mouse? Or is this all in my head? If this is an actual thing, it could be a major dealbreaker for me.

That's just how they are made, by design, AFAIK, all of them (including 3.5g etc)

So the right button is less responsive than the left? :/ That really could hurt my decision.

Yea, it has a different feel. It doesn't even attempt to be close to symmetrical, it's quite a heavy moulded right hand mouse with a center of mass far to the left side of it

Not ideal for Starcraft then. Alright, I'll try play a game with it tonight and see how I feel about it. Did you get used to the mouse quickly?

No, i hated it for 2.5 years then replaced it >.^

weird center of gravity, shape, bad grip + mouse feet and i could never get used to it even though the rightclick didn't bother me

Hello TL!

Kind of on topic of small mouses, I didn't want to necro old thread about Roccat Pyra (by wo1fwood) but i just want to officially thank him for it. I just bought it and it's really awesome. I would probably not get it without that review, so... Thanks wo1fwood!

That said i had no idea the mouse was so old... Does anybody know if Roccat plans to make another similar (wired) mouse? I barely managed to find a one vendor selling it in Poland. If not, I wonder if I should buy second one before it goes out of the market lol (kind of like what happened with LMO).

Anyways, the mouse is not perfect but for anybody wanting a really small mouse (similar to Zowie Mico, CM spawn, salmosa asia ed. etc.) should take a look at Pyra too!

Sooo! I liked the DA! In CS:GO atleast, the Blizzard servers for SC2 are down so I'll test that tomorrow.
I like it a surprising amount, I just have to get used to the fact that I cannot fingertip. Claw seems to be going okay. The anti-sweat stuff really isn't helping though. My hand, especially palm and thumb are sweating after half an Arms War. I might just be getting used to it though. Will test with more games tomorrow!

I find that sweat is a lot more prominent on Razer mice than anything else I've used.

I have one, I never use it though just because it is so small. Everything else seems spot on with it, I just need something a little larger.

To its credit, you don't feel like you'll crush it, but my hand cramps like none other if I use it for anything resembling gaming, snood notwithstanding.

Did you not try it out before you bought it? Or checked the dimensions? Seems weird to still have a mouse that you're so uncomfortable with. Shape and size is a pretty legitimate reason to return or not purchase a mouse.

I'm playing with the Steelseries Sensei RAW. Everything is just the way I like it but I have a weird problem with the scroll wheel. I've read that there are some quality problems(sound, rigidity) with it, however quality wise its fine, I have a functional problem. When I scroll down the document/browser fast it will move a bit down and then immediately way far up. I have to scroll down oh so slow, click by click (with the mouse wheel). I've installed the official software and everything so I'm guessing this is a hardware problem.

I love the mouse to play SC2 as it has everything I want and dont need need the mouse wheel at all. In other games where you have to scroll through long inventories and such or just simple browsing it annoys the hell out of me.

Did anyone experience similar problems, not just with the Sensei and is there a fix for it?

Actually was a gift from my brother for my birthday, didn't take a shine to it and only really use it when I forget to bring my Abyssus back from the office. Otherwise, my girlfriend uses it with her laptop, my brother had been looking for something appropriate for my interest in SC2, so it has some sentimental value.

I don't have any of the problems you describe with my Sensei, jAcc, sounds like a defect. Should probably go and claim your RMA!

I'm now comparing the G400s and my SS Sensei. I like the Deathadder aesthetically, and it might feel good for some, but I didn't get that perfect grip moment even though clawing went fine, it was a bit inaccurate for me.

The main comfort difference with the g400s and the sensei seems to be the fact that it's way more ergonomic for your thumb. Do people actually see this as a benefit if you claw grip and is it actually better/more comfortable for you? I'll most likely get it now anyway, it's about €30,-. Can't really miss that, but still!

Thanks for the reply. I bought my mouse 2 years ago so the warranty is gone. Might buy the Sensei again in heat orange with a new mousepad. Shoutout to Goliathus control, I have mistreated that mousepad to almost every extend and it's still doing fine. Just want to test out a new combination. QcK mass looks very comfy.

It's all about personal preference. Of all the ergonomic ones I tested not one was more comfortable than the standard basic layout. That's reason why I went with the Sensei; it's fairly large and the hand can be more relaxed when you hold it compared to smaller mice. Couple that with the RAW surface and you have, in my eyes, the perfect mouse design (disregarding the technical aspects).I like the simplistic approach over some fancy curved designs.

The mistreatment of the mousepad refects some extreme conditions for the mouse aswell: I splashed full glasses of water over it a couple of times and the precision is still amazing, enough for master league playing anyways.
W/o the scrollwheel issues I can honestly say it's been the best mouse I ever had in my 12 years of gaming. (Reads like a love letter, so just to clarifiy; I'm not paid by Steelseries. Not yet )

I have a standard Sensei currently, and tbh I can only recommend it if you don't want to be exactly precise. Apart from that, the feeling is pretty good, the options you get are awesome (aside from the fact that they re-name BAD things about a mouse and put them into options) With the standard coating you get quite a bit of grease or whatever at the point of the mouse, that you easily get off by rubbing it once or twice. Overall I like it but I want to try something new and different that has a better laser, that's why I'm considering a G400s I can get cheaply now!

Not gonna lie, I should've picked the RAW edition, but it wasn't available and I didn't look any further.
