Anyone here tried the Zowie GT-F and a Goliathus? Which one is faster? Also, i was reading esreality forums and a lot of people said that the goliathus control is actually faster than the speed edition?
Targe, maybe Abyssus? Or Deathadder?

My Razer Naga just bit the dust after three years. Looking for another mouse. Would prefer a very similar shape. I tend to switch how I hold the mouse often even during playing. Played on a dpi of about 800. Any suggestions? Any price is fine. I have no need for the extra 12 billion buttons anymore either.
Edit: Currently using my gf's g400s and not liking it much. I'm used to lifting my mouse often and it feels like I have to lift this one much higher than my naga to get it to stop moving.

That's a stat called lift off distance (LOD) which varies based on mouse and sensor, a few mods are common such as covering half of the sensor on the bottom with a piece of a certain type of tape or something to vastly lower that distance, not sure on details because i like the high LOD (i can throw deathadder around and it responds perfectly) but some people don't like it and quick easy mods are common to lower it

Yeah I'm looking at some of the different mice and seeing the different distances. I'm sure it's something I can get used to, just annoying to deal with at the moment. Been looking at g400s, deathadder, and abyssus mostly.

Do you use any sensitivity multipliers?
(windows set to 6/11 on mouse sens with enhanced pointer precision disabled)
If you're at those settings, without sensitivity multipliers in games, then you are playing with the DPI you have set, but if you're not on 6/11, by habit touch mouse sens in games and put it higher than 1:1, or use enhanced pointer precision (which actually just completely rewrites how your mouse behaves and what the sensitivities mean) then you're not playing with the DPI you have set or 1:1 response
Just a random question to make sure, because it's pretty important for anyone to know what dpi/cpi they are playing with

Nope. I have windows set to default and I don't touch anything in game. If the game has extremely high sensitivity then I'll just lower the mouse DPI while I play that particular game (FPS like CS and stuff I lower it to like 400)

Ended up going to bestbuy and grabbing a deathadder. Really enjoying it. Thanks.

The 2013 one I believe? The one with green (only one they had). But I can change the LOD and it's a little shorter than g400s which I felt was too big.

Has the Kana improved at all with recent firmware? I have a CM Storm Spawn and I just picked up a Kana because it was 23$ to try out. The CM Storm spawn is a great mouse by the wideness puts strain on my ring and pinky and causes cramps in my hand.
The Kana so far feels like a decent replacement but I've mostly been using it in windows. 1600 cpi @ 500hz.

1. What's your grip style? Claw
2. What's your sensitivity? 1350 CPI
3. What's your maximum budget? doesn't matter, if it is the perfect mouse
4. Do you want additional buttons? Need to have thumb buttons aka forward and backward for my hotkey setup
5. What games do you play? SC2
6. Do you mind angle snapping? Yes
7. Other relevant information: Using a G500 so far, but the mouse is too big for my clawgrip. I read the lasersensor has some flaws, i want the absolute flawless one. Considering the Zowie FK, but I am worried about that the CPI is not customizable like in the Logitech Setpoint Software in 50CPI steps. How is the accessibility of the thumb keys while clawgripping it?

There is no way I will get it for 20$ like the one I just got so I am asking specifically if the firmware improved the old Kana to be usable. If not I will just stick with the spawn most likely since the Kana V2 will likely be 60+$

I just received a new set of mouse skates for my deathadder, and holy smokes does it feel good. If any of you have the feeling of drag or stickiness when you move your mouse, I highly recommend getting yourself a new set of skates.

I was going to just get a new mouse and pad 'cause it's that bad but heard of people doing this before, how easy/expensive is it?
