Based on your experience with the browns, would you prefer if you had more tactile feedback? I know that blues have a more pronounced tactile feedback which is why I am trying to figure out which most people prefer since sound does not matter to me.

No wonder he lost... but seriously if he did switch keyboards recently I would say that had something to do with it. I have switched 3 times in the last month to finally a mechanical with blues and its taken me a week to just start getting used to it. I would like to see if I could watch his eyes. I've noticed that when I first switch each time I have a tenancy to look down at the keyboard to make sure i'm on the right keys.

I think the difference between blues and browns isn't really that obvious, they are both very close. Blue's are clicky but browns still make noise. Right now I love my keyboard and I do think it has helped me from misclicks due to the obvious feedback when a key is depressed.
