Mine got released by customs today. Customs are in missisagua and I'm in scarborough. Any idea how long it takes canada post to mail it here? Missisagua and scarborough are both in toronto btw for anyone who doesn't know. So I'd imagine that the package would arrive tomorrow since its out of customs already and its basically in the city. Any thoughts? I'm going crazy waiting for this thing.

After it's released from customs it needs to be processed by Canada Post then it'll be sent to your city. Mine was processed at Vancouver,BC and delivered to Winnipeg, MB in 2 days. Use Canada Post tracking since it's in their hands now, it'll use the same tracking number.

Nice so I'll get mine in 2 days max. Cause its being processed in Missisauga and I live in Scarborough and I can literally drive there to get it... so it'll be a short delivery trip.

Thanks for your info; I hope I don't get charged customs fees.

i live in toronto and ordered mine from keyboardco which is in UK, and I wasn't charged with any customs.

Was the shipping hella expensive though?

shipping was like 23 euros or something like that, the total cost after everything was around 170 CAN for me. This is for the pink filco with brown mx and NKRO.

Just out of curiosity, which carrier did you receive your package with?

Royal Mail International - that was the only option I had since it was from the UK... pretty damn fast shipping though I think it was like 3-4 days right after thanksgiving day in Canada

I've been trying to choose between the browns and blues for quite some time and I think I am going to go with the browns. Just as a final confirmation, from what Ive gathered, most people prefer the blues over the browns because of the noise that the blue keys create.

Just curious, if the blues did not have auditory feedback, which keys would most people prefer between the blues and browns?

Thanks

From what I gather, browns are pretty much blues without noise, but I think the actuation graph is not exactly same. I got browns and they're nice, can't say anything about other switch types because I haven't tried them.

Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it.

Based on your experience with the browns, would you prefer if you had more tactile feedback? I know that blues have a more pronounced tactile feedback which is why I am trying to figure out which most people prefer since sound does not matter to me.

If sound does not matter I think you will prefer blues more.

Browns still make noise but it's just not the clicky noise of blues. It makes noise when you bottom out the keys.

It may not be as loud as the blues but depending on how heavy your typing is, it tends to make a bit of noise.

I haven't heard of Blues having better tactile feedback. Browns and Blues are both tactile, the actuation difference is Browns: 40g - Blues: 45g (Blacks: 60g).

I heard somewhere that blues are considered "tactile" and browns are considered "soft tactile".

True. I should've said "without click", don't know what I was thinking

Anyone notice Fruit Dealer was not using his Filco last night?....but Boxer (the real one) and Inca were using Filcos, although I didn't notice what switches. Just an observation.

No wonder he lost... but seriously if he did switch keyboards recently I would say that had something to do with it. I have switched 3 times in the last month to finally a mechanical with blues and its taken me a week to just start getting used to it. I would like to see if I could watch his eyes. I've noticed that when I first switch each time I have a tenancy to look down at the keyboard to make sure i'm on the right keys.

I would assume he switched keyboards due to a better sponsorship from razor? I mean look at all the crazy amount of sales Filco had after fruit won. They were instantly sold out of his keyboard.

How do you like the blues? Have you had experiences with other switch types, more specifically, brown ones? If so how would you compare it?

Thanks

I think the difference between blues and browns isn't really that obvious, they are both very close. Blue's are clicky but browns still make noise. Right now I love my keyboard and I do think it has helped me from misclicks due to the obvious feedback when a key is depressed.

Thanks for your feedback!

So other than the auditory feedback, you would say that the difference between blues and browns is only slightly noticeable?

Hardly. The only difference is the actuation point, which may slightly delay the tactile bump at best and the clickiness. You're asking for all this feedback but its all relative. The best way to find out is try them somehow or take a risk and pick one. They're nor very different anyway

If you look back vs Fruit Dealers game vs BoxeR in GSL you can see he is using the Filco at the end of the 1st match around 17:14.
