Currently I've got an AMD 1090t running at 3.8 ghz and a Radeon 6950 2gb. I'm trying to decide if I should pick up another 6950 for crossfire because I've got some money from Christmas. I'm only gaming at 1080p and I know that two 6950's is kind of overkill for that resolution (for now at least), but my mobo and psu can handle it and this is probably the last chance I have to upgrade until I do a complete system rebuild (hopefully that'll be when Haswell comes out). Should I wait it out or upgrade now? What do you guys think?

It's probably the most cost-efficient aftermarket heatsink out there. Big improvement in cooling for a very small price.

What is your budget? £600-800 What is your resolution? 1680x1050 (plan on getting a 1920x1080 sometime in the future) What are you using it for? Just gaming and a little studying (the possibility to record and mabye stream would be nice, although it's not that important to me) What is your upgrade cycle? 3years~ When do you plan on building it? Next 2~ months Do you plan on overclocking? In the future, yes. Do you need an Operating System? Yes Do you plan to add a second GPU for SLI or Crossfire? No Where are you buying your parts from? www.amazon.co.uk www.ebuyer.com www.overclockers.co.uk www.scan.co.uk (Basically any companies that deliver within England) Thanks beforehand for any help that I get from fellow TL'ers ^_^

With the budget you can afford an i5-2500k, reasonable P67 or Z68 motherboard, typical 2 x 4GB DDR3 RAM, graphics card, hard drive, optical drive, ~500W power supply, chassis, maybe SSD as well. Look at most of the builds in this thread for ideas. No sense linking specific prices now if you're not buying now (unless you are).

. The reason I am posting now is that I have £600 but I may decide to spend 2 months to save for another £200 if it's worth the wait for the increased performance.
