If you have integrated graphics in addition to a video card, and something happens (failure to boot, etc...) the standard first thing to do is remove unnecessary components. A lot of times a computer will be able to boot with just the HDD and a stick of RAM. If you have no integrated graphics, then you can't remove the video card, and if the video card is the problem you'll have an unusable computer until you get a new one, whereas if you have integrated you'd be able to at least use your computer until you get a replacement (and possibly even find a fix without buying a new card). Well me saying they work together still doesn´t make it 100% certain... you never know. And Google doesn´t give you one of a kind responses that make you feel unique and important...

I'll recommend the kit I use in my own PC, as I'm on a Gigabyte mobo myself (P55-UD3R): http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_311_312_612&item_id=026160 I'm a bit shocked at how little price variation there is though, from the cas7's to the cas9's.

24" Acer Scratched my LCD monitor, has two 1-inch length 1-mm deep scratches near the left side of the monitor... Pixels are dead when I use it, but the rest of the monitor shows fine. Still under 3-year limited warranty, but probably won't be covered under warranty. Sent it in for repair, should arrive there around Friday... I assume the whole screen will have to be replaced. Anybody know the cost of fixing the screen of my LCD? Hopefully under $100? ![]()

If the ram doesn't work, there is another motherboard there http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=26_583&item_id=031291 for about the same price, but if I read it correctly even if I'm not using SLI, my card will still be running at 8x as opposed to 16x.

should be able to find a list of support memory for your motherboard on gigabyte's website though it's surprisingly hard to find ><

Is this guy bullshitting me or what, because I have yet to see a H55 designed kit of ram. Is he saying that he is 100% sure that it does NOT work or that he is just not 100% sure that it DOES work? Sry i don't get that from your sentence. For memory from the good brands (and gskill is one of those) i would not worry about the compatability. There are just too many different variations out there to test them all with every motherboard. If the ram is not listed on the supported memory list from gigabyte that does not mean that it is not compatible, they probably just didn't test it.
