I'm posting my setup, planned for purchase within the next two weeks here in the hopes that you guys can spot any mismatches between components. The setup is designed to run 3 1080p monitors with moderate gaming performance and superb CPU performance. The setup is as follows:
2x Club 3D GeForce GTX 560Ti Green 1GB in SLI for 3 monitor support. Sandy Bridge i7 2700K for overclocking to 4.3-4.5GHz XFX 850W PSU ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 motherboard (I'm tentative on this one, I don't want to go all out on a motherboard, but this might not be good enough) Noctua NH-D14 for the CPU. and lastly 8GB DDR3 1600MHz HyperX
Can this be achieved for cheaper? Or do I need to spend more money on a better motherboard for overclocking?

Are you doing 3D Surround? Eyefinity with 7850 might be a better option...
850w is not required for SLI, 650w is more than suifficient.
If the 2700k is more expensive than the 2600k, just get the 2600k because the two are literally the same thing.
P8Z68-V Pro is a little high-end and probably not the best choice either depending on pricing of your retailer... there is no reason to get such a high-end motherboard if you don't know what benefits it provides you.
HyperX sort of sucks and often overpriced.

The HyperX is dirt cheap from my retailer, which is why I picked it About Eyefinity: I've always wanted to use just that, however, the games support for AMD cards is crap compared to Nvidia. Sadly
EDIT: Also, the performance of 2 560Ti's in SLI should be better than a single 7850, right? I don't think a single card would handle games well at all.

Pretty sure CrossfireX scales better than SLI these days.
I meant do Eyefinity with CrossfireX 7850 instead of Surround with SLI GTX 560 Ti.

It usually does scale better, yeah. Certain cards and games will put the lie to it, but for a safe blanket statement, CFX scales better overall. Unless there's a new card/game driver issue, though, it's usually within a few percent.

-editout-
Damn, the powerline kit isn't in stock where I am. Any other recommendations?

Gah, I should listen to you before doing anything.. Would've been a lot faster :c I just ordered online x.x People at local CC don't like me. Never let me PM sales.

EDIT: I think I'll just return it when it delivers.

Well it's only $10 more expensive so not a big deal if they don't let you PM. You can just cancel your NCIX order by yourself in your account.

The order already processed, so no dice. Gah. Noob mistakes on my part.
Can you return items to the store if you had it shipped? Their faqs aren't very clear on this.

Yes, you still need an RMA number though.

BFG GTX 285 for $80 a good deal?

Primarily because BFG is dead.

For starters, you should be buying some RTV silicon to put between the case and the fans. Secondly, you shouldn't be using a Lanboy Air for anything resembling quiet. The silicon will help the acoustics, but not make it quiet. Nothing can.
Scythe makes good fans, or get more Antec tricools. A fan controller is good for keeping them below max RPM which really helps noise, too.
