Try reading the thread next time.
Yes that has been discussed, but as I mentioned in an earlier post my roommate and I have had this happen to us while we were playing each other multiple times... I can assure you that neither of us drophacked...

just happened to me for the first time. he gg'd and we were talking about the game then it dropped me and crashed
|
Been happening a bunch to me the past couple weeks. Half my 1v1 losses can be attributed to dropping (I don't have a lot of 1v1 games played ~20 or so).
|
This started happening to me about one out of every three games since the newest patch. I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence or what but it's damned annoying.

Yeah, it's sooo fucking annoying. Shit's happenin to me too

I stopped getting this after closing steam when I launch Starcraft 2. If you have steam, maybe try closing it before play SC2

I just got dropped for my first time in ~40 games. The circumstances under which I was dropped were pretty fish so I'm gonna post here: I think a drop hack might be responsible. I was playing some protoss who double gate'd me inside my main (lol protoss) and sure enough I lost. I leave and search for another one, getting the same toss on another map. This time we both play standard and I crush him. I kill his nat twice and he doesn't kill a single scv all game. I'm killing his base and he's down to a few structures. He starts badmouthing me and when he's down to an assimilator, I get dropped. Is this kid hacking or was it just a terrible coincidence?

I don't know if anyone else has this issue but...
I'm running windows 7 64bit version i think and once i exit out of sc2 i cant play again until i reboot my computer. i hit the loading screen and it just goes to "starcraft 2 has stopped working"
anyone else getting that issue?
as for the drop, happened to me once in placement but oddly enough did not enter into our match win loss counter

This just happened to me today after I blatantly won a game. The guy had a CC floating somewhere while I was working on my 2nd expo next thing you know everything just stopped then just "You were dropped" and sc2 crashed. First time this actually happened to me.
I'm having second thoughts on this because I think there is much more to it than the naked eye and not some "random drop".

It's not a drophack. It can happen just as often just playing against the AI. I'm guessing that one of the Blizzard servers is faulty somehow. There's also a problem with the software, considering how it crashes.

I can start the game up, log in, and play two matches perfectly, but if I try and join another right after that, I always end up getting disconnected on the loading screen. I have been able to reproduce this by first playing a match, which finishes to completion, and then watching the replay of the match immediately afterward. As soon as I leave the replay, I will get a message saying that my connection to battle, net has been lost, after which I can just re-log in and everything is fine after that. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. This occurs 100% every time I have tested it so far.
It's nearly exactly what I'm experiencing. And if the games are short enough I might be lucky and get through a win (or loss). Nothing in common with your specs though.

I was able to reduce the rate of crushes from nearly 50% of all games to 0% by turning off antivirus. I believe in 95% of the cases it is caused by battle.net getting denied access by fariwalls and antivirus programms.

Hey since I lowered my desktop resolution I havent dropped 1 time. Its only been 6 games but before I did that I was dropping pretty much every other game
|
I got dropped yesterday and logged back on to find all my stats reset.
I learn to laugh at this stuff now because it happens every few days being BETA.
|
I'm sick of this. Happened to me 5 times during a single hour.
Unless this is resolved, I don't think I will be playing beta for a while.
|
This time i managed to finish the game before getting dropped, and i said that i had lost my connection to battle.net.
|
Ok so, ive been having this problem too, so I tried lowering my resolution and it helped a little but not much. Then today I set my resolution back up to where it was and I was able to play 10 straight games of 1v1 and a few 2v2 without dropping. I also had my computer on all night. Not sure which fixed it but you should try this and see if it works.
