http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=117158 Edit: Well I don't mind the effort they've put in to try and make map hacking and other cheating methods, or at least minimize it. But if they aren't going to put servers up in places that aren't lucky enough to have decent connections. Then they should allow some P2P action or else they'll lose such a huge target audience.

It happened today. The came dies and tells me sc2 stopped working or was closed. Then windows comes up and says DEP closed the program because it detected that the program was using memory incorrectly. SP2: 32bit vista intel core 2 duo T8300 @ 2.4 x2 4gb ram Geforce 8600M GT It, would probably be smart for me to turn this off though, i dont remember the last time that i have.

32bit Vista AMD Athlon X2 QL-62 2.00 4gb ram GeForce 9600M GT 512mb No drop screen or anything. I was able to right click and they showed on the screen but gameplay was frozen. Stayed that way for about 15 seconds then dropped.

After about 15 seconds, SC2 just vanished and I was back at my desktop ![]() is there something going on with the servers?

No account sharing. Windows Vista 32-bit 2.5 gHz 2gb ram Really quite frustrating, it's not happened when I've been losing a game yet.

You can't turn off DEP for StarCraft II.exe, which is starting to piss me off.

Actually it seems you can (by disabling the whole thing), googled this: Disable DEP 1/ Click the Start Button 2/ On the Start menu Click All Programs 3/ On the All programs menu Click Accessories 4/ From the Accessories menu Right Click on the Command Prompt and, from the drop down menu, Select 'Run as administrator' 5/ If the User Account Control feature pops up you will need to either press the Continue button or else provide UAC with the details it requires 6/ When the Command Prompt window opens type: bcdedit.exe/set {current} nx AlwaysOff and press Enter (dont forget to use the spaces in the line) 7/ If all has gone well you should see a message saying that 'The operation completed Successfully.' 8/ Close down the Command prompt window and Restart your PC for the changes to take effect.
