Hi guys! My name is Pavel, I’m a screenwriter and video blogger. Currently I’m writing a book of development of some famous games of the past. There I’ll put my own interviews with key developers of some franchises.

During the development of LotV, was there ever any serious considerations from the devs, of community proposals to the in-game economy? I can recall several well-made proposals to change the economy from that era. One example being:
Proposal that didn't really go anywhere. I was wondering if the community was just wasting their time back then and that the devs were just doing what they wanted, without considering feedback/proposals.

SC2 launched with maps like Steppes of War and Xel'Naga Caverns, which were significantly smaller than maps that followed. Was the launch game designed around a smaller average map size than what the community eventually settled on? If so, what design challenges emerged and resulting changes were implemented as a response to the rise of larger maps?
