Hey everybody! I'm DalK, and helped lead up the Waveform crew that worked on TSL9's finals broadcast as well as help with the concepting and design of the TSL9 HUD alongside Sybert, Liquid's GFX department and Ahli who did the integration of it.

It was my pleasure to help work on a major SC2 event again in such an in-depth capacity and I was really happy to push through a lot of the spectator tools that I thought could be improved on (like a return to income with values). Of course worked hard to ensure these mixed well with all of the in-game production features we had like FPV and PIP observers.
Additionally, here are some words from resident UI god Ahli:
You can download the HUD here.
Feel free to mess around with it and maybe even improve on it yourself if you so choose
Peace out.

I want to thank Teamliquid and Waveform.gg for the opportunity to create a unique observer UI for the TSL9 tournament. The collaboration was amazing and I had fun modifying the UI with its special theme.
This was the first UI that uses random elements. Certain background areas received randomly placed, scaled and rotated candy. I hope the gummy bears were not too distracting!
As far as I am aware, the viewers liked this UI, especially the refined version for the finals.
In addition, I would like to thank you for using my extension mod. It involves a lot of trust to use it in a large scale tournament since a lot of money is on the line. A smooth, bug-free gameplay is essential and I hope that I could provide that.
This was the first tournament to display Chrono Boost in the production tab. I am already working on the next of my mod's features. I plan to update this UI to keep it compatible.
I hope everyone enjoyed the tournament and viewing experience. Until next time!
