Not too sure about Tasteless but if Artosis isn't going, I can see why Tasteless isn't. | ||

Sure, but until this years IEM most everything was casted online so covid shouldnt be an issue and they werent there either. No TSL, no ESL casting… | ||

But its hard to imagine Apollo and others falling out with Tastosis to a degree that they are not invited to cast any games anymore. Prehaps its really a choice they made themselves - to focus on GSL/ASL only, which I can imagine is a lot of work itself. But its a shame not have them cast top tier western games, especially since the power level is so high now in the region. | ||

I think all is as it should be. But yeah, it'd be nice to have some cross pollination for some events, perhaps GSL vs the world at some point. I miss those fun events. | ||

Also I do like that the people who are pushing Starcraft esport and working hard for it like Wardi are doing the casting. Well deserved IMO | ||

So from a buisness perspective for ESL it makes sense to not get them at any cost Realy looking forward to Harstems casting and also hope to have Lambo anlysing games in the later rounds. They both are amazing | ||

They both are amazing Can't really agree, for me Tastosis are still by far the best casters in the scene and games with them casting instantly become a lot more entertaining. But yeah the other casters are also good and will do good job, but I think it's really a shame the best casters are not casting the world championship | ||

Their passion has always been and now solely in BW, but casting SC2 in GSL is just becoming a job to them. You can see that during the casting, its now 50% jokes and outside story, no discussion about the scence, no discussion about build order or timing attack. They pretty much tell us what happen on the screen, which is very helpful for newbie who never watched SC2 before but regular SC2 fans are not enjoying the content that much. Of course Tastosis still get a huge amount of SC2 fanbase from past success and their entertainment value, but for other reason than SC2 content. | ||
