DreamHack SC2 Masters Summer

The qualifiers for DreamHack StarCraft II Masters: Summer have concluded, determining the players who will compete in each of the six regional tournaments.

While the Summer season of Masters was originally planned to be a live, three-day event akin to the WCS Circuit Championships of the past, the global pandemic brought about drastic changes to the format. Now, there are six regional tournaments which will be played online over the course of several weeks, similar to previous WCS Challenger tournaments but with vastly increased stakes. The top players from each of those regional Masters events will then compete in a mixed-region season finals. (read full details).

The invited and qualified players for each regional Masters event are as follows

Europe

North America

Latin America

China

Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Japan

Oceania / Asia

Thaniri

Very glad Kas qualified! Still cheering for Kas.

I still have nostalgia for his 3rd place in TSL3 and WCG 2011.

He will return to glory

Got a lot of first time participants in the EU and NA leagues.
First timers in the European league: Vanya, spaz, ArT, Arctur.
First timers in the NA league: jheffe, Creature, FireFox and Namshar (technically Europeans).
