Regardless of the situation, we will still action upon "dead game" comments. As this is a sensitive issue for SC2 fans, please do not come into this thread and talk about SC2 players switching over to BW. This thread is also not about bashing Blizzard, David Kim, or the WCS system. |

lol INno and Stats have been playing online cups for years
I'm talking about Leifeng Cup, Olimoleague, Kung Fu Cup etc. Not all the tournaments they've played because they were invited..

Yea, it's really interesting to see how brood war is coming back, I honestly can't imagine Korea without some rts.
Some have said SC2 was in a bubble, I think I agree, clearly it burst. Makes sense now it will settle into something sustainable.

(Somewhat selfishly) hoping this doesn't cause a mass exodus to the foreign scene. if that is the case, there is the possibility for a worldwide proleague of sorts that is able to mix korean and foreigner team rosters and breeding players from the ladder in tournaments and whatnot. It would actually be a good way to garner more attention and increase the playerbase for SC2
The logistics for that to happen in a 1v1 game are infeasible for starcraft right now

And here I was, starting to get deep into their history, roots, personal traits and everything. Thanks for these 2 past years, PL! Hard to top that as a competitive medium for videogames.

Shit, well I enjoy every second of it.
It was a good run for as long as it lasted, lets all tune in for Blizzcon for the last stand of Korean Starcraft.

Remember guys, downsizing is healthy.

Unsurprising. I wonder what they mean by expanding the StarCraft KeSPA Cup.
|
How fitting that it ends on that 4-0 shitshow lol

They both played last year... It's proleague offseason (forever) so they can do what they want

No, no you got it wrong.
The Korean scene is healthy as fuck!

Knew it was coming... But man didn't expect it to happen before Blizzcon.
|
Can someone explain why both happened at the same time? Did all the Korean teams only exist to compete in Proleague?

Basically yeah. They won't get any exposure from GSL or whatever is left to play in.
