Hi everyone, I'm Sen. I have to announce that I'm retiring. In fact I had considered retiring since last year but ultimately decided to finish my contract with HKA. Now that the contract is ending, I'm also retiring as a progamer.
The reasons is firstly my skill, my reflexes aren't as sharp as before, and don't have a lot of passion in Starcraft. I haven't been practicing that much since last year, but HKA has been very gentle on me so I've been slacking haha.
Anyway, thanks HKA for the great support in the past two years of my career, and it feels so good winning the Taiwan Open before I retire. Last of all, thank you for all your support. Love, your fatman. See you guys!
Oh dear, I've been watching Sen for over a decade, he is the most consistent foreigner there ever was and probably the most consistent foreigner there will ever be. Farewell !
I considered him one of the best foreigners as far back as the WoL beta. His NASL Season 1 run, WCS 2012 Final run, and TWoP win that ended the Korean all-kill streak from 2013-2014 in particular are memorable. Thanks for the good times.
He always seemed to be forgotten among other foreign greats like Idra, Stephano, Jinro, and Naniwa. In fact I even forgot to put him in my sig. I think I'll rectify that...
Sen we were friends back during Op ToT) days, now we've obviously lost contact but I watched you grow as a professional gamer, and that within itself was amazing. Glad to have played with you in the past, and I hope your future is as amazing as your pro-gaming career!
Damn. Sen's one of the all time great foriegners. Good for him though. He's consistently fought and beat Koreans on their home turf for what like 10 years now? A well earned retirement.
Never want to see a great player go, but it's hard to feel too sad when a guy like Sen has had such a a long and incredible career. From BW until now, he has shown us more amazing games than almost any other player. If anyone has "earned" a retirement, it's Sen.
Sen your a legend and straight up G, still one of my funniest Day9 stories, shots fired bang bang hahaha hope he sticks in the scene goes to some home stories to commentate wish him all the luck in the future.

In other words, this game relies too much on coin toss and cheap wins, this explains why the tournament results are so inconsistent, and top players can't stay top for too long because of constant changes and "balance" tweaks, thus many of the players we used to know and love decided to "quit". god bless david kim.
At the age of 29 he's earned enough money to buy half of a house in Taiwan. Now he has to decide how he's going to save th rest of the money it will take to buy a home.

By any chance, do you know what he is planning to do next for a living? Hearthstone?

I honestly have no idea. I can tell you the guy doesn't like to do interviews.
Bye Sen! Although I didn't follow you that much on SC2 I am a big fan on bw. I honestly think you are the one of the few foreign players that can give Koreans a good fight!
