I don't think Samsung have much hope against KT. They really need Dear to beat TY, and Bravo to beat Leenock, then have someone (probably Dear) take down Zest in the ace match. It does not seem likely. Otherwise they need something big from Reality or Solar. Reality could beat Stats but KT are definitely the favourites. | ||

Although given AF's terrible showing this round and w/ Alive falling off, absolutely no idea who they'd send out if required (hopefully not Bomber like last time). Samsung put on an incredible performance last week in coming in ultra prepared and focused, and giving SKT the worst thrashing they've received in years. The english commentary crew continues to crap on Reality, while all he does is keep producing results and proving that his playstyle is best suited for the BO1 PL format. A second consecutive 3-0 Samsung sweep seems possible w/ the matchups. If Dear can beat TY, everything should align well. Still rooting for CJ to get the 4th slot for the R2 playoffs. No team has endured the difficulties they've had to this season. And their showing this round, after looking down and out for the count in R1, has been inspiring. I hope if there's a TL write-up following R2, that herO gets the recognition he deserves for delivering perhaps the greatest round in history (yes, even over Maru's current 6-0 one, TY's 7-0 in '14, and Inno's 6-0 in '15). herO has gone 7-3 this round, w/ three ace match victories (for all of his team's three victories). He's won every initial game to get to the three ace matches, and came within a hair of winning a fourth one against the most dominant ZvP in the world (Dark) on a heavily Z favored map. herO has as many ace match wins this round as every other player combined. The last time I can remember a PL team relying so entirely on just one player (to win their initial match and then trying to scrounge together another win anywhere to force an ace match so said player can come back out), is back in BW w/ Flash for KT (before the emergence of Stats). herO has been CJ this entire round. And every other team knows that there is no other option to appear in any possible ace match, regardless of the map imbalance. And thus have been able to specifically prepare any player/sniper/build they want against him in advance. I hope I'm not the only one who appreciates the magnitude of what herO has done in R2 against all odds. | ||
