What's the point of discussing anything, ever, outside of the official information given?

This is legitimately upsetting. Must be how people felt when Savior was charged in the bw days.

Shits and giggles? Nah, it's just what people do, gossip argue and speculate without all the information.

Not that you're frustrated ofc but that no news has come out yet (together with Life still not being banned)

don't see how no news is considered good news in this situation.

If they can't make the charges stick wouldn't he just be released?

Eventually, yes.

They seem unable to prove his guilt. If they were able to find clear proof, Life would be banned by now, imo. The PRIME-guys were banned almost immediately, because the case was clear, but with Life, things seem to be a bit more complicated.
Of course this doesn't mean that Life won't get banned, but no news is definitely good news for Life right now.

Since we've heard nothing about the people arrested from Prime, I think there is a possibility that this is a part of the same investigation and Life might not even be the last person who is detained. In that case the next time we would hear more is when they all go to court together, after the possible (maybe even likely) subsequent arrests.
Then again if the information I read is correct there is a maximum of 20 day time window where they might decide not to press charges against Life and release him because after that they must indict him. Once that deadline passes it becomes more likely that we won't hear much until a trial.

This whole thing of banning from professional play before found guilty and not doing the same in Life's case (yet) is a really weird thing to me... Either KeSPA knows something or they're just quicker to throw people that aren't as famous as Life under the bus.

You're probably right but I did notice that Life hasn't been banned from anything yet while the Prime guys immediately were.

Surprised they don't operate on an "innocent until proven guilty" system.
Then again the league may have its own rules saying anyone under investigation for match-fixing can't play. Oh well.

Yep. Just checked the news regarding the PRIME-case - and it really happened almost immediately. The only difference I found was that:
According to KeSPA, they had been tipped off to Gerrard and YoDa's match-fixing and had been holding their own investigation before becoming aware of the criminal investigation taking place.
If this was not the case with Life, it'd explain why they took immediate action against PRIME but not against Life. In PRIME's case it looks like they already suspected (or even had proof) that some matches were fixed. I doubt that they suspected Life though. So maybe they're just investigating by themselve right now and that's the reason for the delay.

I've followed this from quite far so can someone enlighten me with what's happening ? I got that he match fixed old games but is Life charged for recent match fixing ? Is he charged for loosing games for money, winning games against money or both ? I saw the replay of the match that was posted here (or the other thread I'm not sure) that clearly shows he lost on purpose. Maybe this one was fixed ?!... but is there equivalent games where he won too easily (and I'm not talking about Lilbow at blizzcon) ?

LOL
