Do not talk about MarineKing even if you are defending him. Just don't do it. Please no match-fixing accusations on MarineKing or any other player if it has not officially been confirmed. This goes for other players too. -The_Templar

I have to wonder, while it's wrong to falsely accuse someone, if it's best to suppress these rumors. I mean over here in the West the average Joe didn't know. Did the casters know? Did other pros know? How did the police find out? Repeated rumors are a good thing to investigate, not ignore. I wonder how many other players have rumors about them that maybe nobody talks about b/c they don't want to rock the boat. Uh yeah they definitely didn't decide to arrest one of if not the highest profile players on some whim.

Someone else mentioned there is a 98% conviction rate, one can assume then that they wouldnt arrest him without a slam dunk. Like someone else pointed out, theres no details as to what the match fixing was. It could be something as simple as a specific timing or as bad as taking a loss. Either way it sounds almost certain money was passed for some sort of manipulation of the game.

Are you like the majority of users here it seems and feel the need to keep posting things like "innocent until proven guilty" or some other "this is a misunderstanding" or are you logical and realize there was likely some pretty hard evidence to arrest and charge one of the highest profile players we have. You don't say that publicly without being damn sure.

I'm just interested to know if the little fucker did participate in matchfixing, and thus tainted the SC2 esport scene. If he did, it's kind of outrageous. I mean Yoda and BbongBbong weren't absolutly dominant players, so yeah I could at least understand somehow that they might let themselves recieve money to throw games. But man, Life must have gathered so much cash from his performences, why screw up both his career and his legacy while things were still going nicely?

I have a prosecutor in my family (brother) and I can tell you, that you will not get arrested unless the evidence is rock solid. But anyway, this is just really bad, i fear for a remake of the BW downfall... KT a top 9 Korean company definitely has some serious ties with the government, especially considering it was privatized not so long ago. Either Life was hoping that Afreeca will let him stream despite KeSPA match fixing policies and demanded the trade or KT has a seer working for them or they knew about the arrest incoming. Lots of circumstantial evidence points to them knowing before hand.

Life is most likely guilty, I wouldn't make posts advocating his innocence, but I wouldn't go around proclaiming his guilt with such arrogance either.

I'm not being arrogant. It's called being real. These things aren't happening because of a rumor as someone literally just proclaimed. That's my point. You still have loads of people saying things like that which given all we've heard is absurd.
