Do not talk about MarineKing even if you are defending him. Just don't do it. Please no match-fixing accusations on MarineKing or any other player if it has not officially been confirmed. This goes for other players too. -The_Templar

Also this announcement that the cause of his arrest was in fact match-fixing isn't particularly surprising. It's a little surprising that they specifically made a note that he was being arrested for receiving money. This means they have evidence to back up such a claim. I know he's technically innocent until proven guilty, but it seems like it might just be a formality at this point.

Even though I dislike life the player and always rooted against him, it seems way too harsh to have him thrown in jail for losing at video games. Sure it ruins the integrity of the game, but at the end of the day it's just games played for entertainment. Why jail a kid for it Its a gambling thing. Various crime organizations pay off peopel to match fix, so that they win money betting on the underdog.

To be honest people are asking why, it isn't surprising that these things happen. Think logically, if you are a pro-gamer and you know eventually you have to go to the military, you know that eventually your skills will wane and eventually you will stop making money and have to go get a normal job/go to school...knowing all this someone offers you an obscene amount of money (it would have to be for a guy like Life) that would fix you up REAL good before eventually retiring, would you consider it? Okay I would like to say I would give them the middle finger, but lots of 0's on a figure can be super tempting... Well so is stealing money from old people and scaming with Nigeria-mails aswell. Does not justify it at all. Stop making up excuses like this, it is so bullshit. If Life have done what he is accused for he deserves to be put in jail.

Or maybe bet-owner wanted that matchfixing and Life declined his offer. Loss was indeed real and he transferred money dispite Life's decline?

But if you get involved with crime organizations to purposely manipulate the outcome for gambling, then its illegal. The pressure from these gambling orgs is already very high despite the activity being punished. If they just let things roam free then we'll literally not have a single clean game in ProLeague.

According to Catz and Hydra there were a lot of rumors beforehand that Life was matchfixing. That doesn't sound like someone wanted to be clever and destroy Life but more like progamers have made the observations themselves that Life may be fixing because of some games or his spending habits or something like that.

People always say "I knew it" anecdotes when something pops up. Take that with a grain of salt.

I would personally agree that jailing people just for manipulating some sports is silly, but it also does not really happen, so there is nothing to be mad about ... Yeah, people seem to forget this. Hard jail time is very unlikely.

Well he needs air to breath and food to eat aswell. "He might had needed money so he match fixed" - isnt really a Sherlock-observation. But thanks for sharing.
